to music in my bones
an all new real life college town role play set in north carolina. mimb has a word count of 200 words, but we are very flexible and will pretty much accept all skill levels. we don't have a mandatory application, although we do have a registration form and optional character biography. please, take a look around and register with a first middle last in all lower case. don't be shy either. if you have any questions, ask in the cbox, we don't bite, promise!

we'll keep this short and sweet
welcome to music in my bones! please register with first middle last in all lowercase letters. it makes the site pretty. after you've registered, posts must be at least 200 words. we are pretty flexible on that as long as you average 200 words in a thread. you're probably wondering about graphics, huh? well, max avatar dimensions are 200x300, so get those pretty things up. don't use internet famous or animated play bys.
oh and another thing, we really don't want to have to ban you guys but we will if you give us a reason. we go by the three strikes you're out rule: warning, temporary ban, account deletion. hey! speaking of account deletion, stay active so that you can keep your accounts! log into them at least once a week and we will not delete it when you don't post in an activity check. if you don't log in once a week, your character will be deleted rather than put into the innactive member group. SO BE ACTIVE!
and be nice, that's always a good thing too. respect all the members and follow directions of the admins. if you do these things, you'll have a good time at music in my bones.

update march twenty seventh two thousand twelve it has come to my attention that i failed to give this site a rating. on average I would like to see it stay at a PG-13 rating, but as it is a real life site there will be more mature content in some plots and threads. so, if there is mature content (sex, drugs, hard core drinking, etc) make sure to mark the thread as such by saying something like "RATED R" or "M". also, just because you can do these things doesn't mean you have to. it is actually encouraged to fade to black and pick up afterwards if you don't absolutely have to describe a sex scene.
update march thirtieth two thousand twelve i also would like to make it clear that character plots have to be creative, no mary sues or gary stus. that said, keep it realistic. we don't want 20 pregnant teens running around trying to figure out who the dad is. it's pretty easy to say that wouldn't happen in real life. all pregnancies in plots must be cleared by an admin as well as anything to do with cancer, or anything big like car crashes (if the car crashed happened before the time that the character starts being played it's fine-like if it is part of the history).
