Subplot Signups

These are generic subplots. Anyone taking
a character with the requirements listed can
apply for one of these subplots.

Witchy Woman

She was beautiful, and entrancing, and insanely sweet.
With full red lips, and the sweetest voice. The kind of girl
that would have men on their knees. But she never needed
anyone. Nor did she ever like the attention. It was always
hollow because it was never really for her. It was always for
her looks. And all the shallow men trailing after her with
dragging tongues never really caught her attention.

The was until he came along. He was strong, and cruel, and
not at all interested in her. And she wanted his attention so
badly that she did all she could. It only took one night for things
to go awry. One night of passion and both their worlds were
upside down. Two months later and she still hasn't told him what
happened. But it's starting to show, and she doesn't know how
much longer she can hide it. And then what will happen? A baby
with a shade father whom he never sees. Or will she move to X
to be with him?

They aren't happy with the job the union is doing
running the system. They feel that they could do
it better. That anyone could do it better, including
the Shade. And the Shade are looking for any
unhappy people they can find. They're handing
out their pamphlets full of promises, and these the
unhappy people are just lapping it up. These five
especially. The Shade need spies, peasants who can
get jobs at the castles, and get close to the royalty.
These five have taken up the task. But like any job in
espionage, there is danger involved. If they were to be
discovered they would be thrown in prison, or worse.
Who knows how the royalty would react to spies in their
mists. Will these five survive? And will they learn things
about the royalty that they didn't know? Will this change
their minds?

Sometimes opposites attract. And when that
happens it's magic. Or is it? Maybe it's just
something physical. When they met they knew
it was wrong. Because navy soldiers always follow
the rules, and pirates always break them. Their
heads would butt. They would never agree. Things
never turn out the way you think they should. They
met at a port, the navy had been tailing the pirate
ship for days, and when they finally came into port
they tried to make a grab. Unfortunately it didn't work
out quite the way they thought it might. These two ended
up locked in a duel, and things got more heated than
they would like to admit. So heated that they had to
wander off away from the brawling groups. But things
never end the way you think they should. And they didn't
end there.

Four peasants have decided they're tired of the
way the system is being run. The union obviously
isn't doing what they need to do. Of course they've
heard all about what the Shade offer. But they're
not quite as gullible as people tend to think peasants
are. They can see through the lies, and the bullshit.
And they plan on doing things their way. No one has
to get hurt, no one has to die. But their point will be
heard. They just have to think of a way. Some of the
many ideas are setting one of the council rooms on fire,
crashing one of the many balls, or taking one of the many
princesses hostage.

He's a womanizer. He's handsome, he's charming,
and he has a smile that makes women swoon.
That's just all there is to it. So it's no real wonder
that he has a fan club. These three girls hang on
his every word. And if they could marry him they'd
all try to. Of course it's a shame that their peasants
because they can't. He's like their celebrity they can
never have. They would follow him everywhere if they
could. And they all claim to be in love with him. He's
the only thing that ever seems to be on their minds.
This severe infatuation borders stalking. But will this
crazy lust they have for him ever turn into anything else?
Will he ever see them as anything more than just an
amusement? Or will they become annoying?
