PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Ano doesn't differ much from the image coming to one's head after hearing a word "hyena". His gray fur isn't littered with spots - he only has some of them on his back, paws and belly. However, the young one does have some characteristics hyenas of his age don't usually posess. First of all, he is so thin one could count his ribs without any problems, what could have helped him in becoming one of the little hyenas, who have secretely mastered the art of stealth. Ano also is noticeably smaller than his peers. The male, strangely, is rarely seen running - after exhausting hunts he ends up limping quite badly, but even that doesn't render him completely useless during these. Furthermore, despite suffering from numerous injuries taking a long time to heal, he usually smiles a lot, but not in the way one would like to see. Warmth is rarely seen clearly in his grins, and so does behind his red eyes.

PERSONALITY: Although his choices are unpredictable to others, he always takes his own way, no matter whether he walks down it alone, or not. Even though he usually works on his own, he values teamwork – being a hyena. Ano is not arrogant, but he never holds himself back, if something (usually someone) gets under his skin, like the sand does. Even though he is clever and intelligent, Ano is usually described with only two words: mysterious and unpredictable. Only one thing is sure about him – and that is, if he gets to respect someone, one can depend on him. Nobody knows his true self, intentions or goals –but everyone knows he was once a different guy. He now trusts no one but himself. He even speaks in a manner so different it may be scary, especially for those, who have known him longer than the others.

Some may remember the image of Ano when he was younger. Before the life has changed its flow for the little pup, taking his mother with it, he was just like everyone else at this age - very curious of the world, which surrounded him from every side and very eager to hunt. After her mothers' death, almost everything has changed. He was still very young, when the beating of her heart has been taken away from him, and the loss has torn him apart inside. In his misery he has nearly shared his mothers' fate, since during the second hunt of his, he has got beaten up quite badly by a gazelle he was trying to capture. Ano has never fully recovered, depicting him weak and unworthy in the eyes of others, what has laid him further and further down his path. Now it's so dark only he doesn't lose his way in the shadows, as everyone else, trying to understand the reasons of his change.

His sister, Armada, is probably the only hyena who knows what path he's decided to take, even though she doesn't know its turns. Even though she knows him best of all hyenas of the pack, she still knows very little about him, despite having taken care about him ever since their mother's death. He is as mysterious to her, as to everyone else.

RELATIVES: Armada - he is a younger brother of hers.

HISTORY: One can guess, but – again – little is known about his past. Ano is one of the hyenas, whose roots lay somewhere else, where different packs roam. Over time, he was getting closer and closer to the group, eventually swearing allegiance to the leaders. That has happened when he was still rather young, taking his first steps as an adolescent hyena. He has become part of the pack – and changed over time. Nobody knows why, and nobody knows what has happened. Maybe someone will discover and reveal the reason for this change?
