i just can't wait to be king general information
NICKNAME: n/a GENDER: Female SPECIES: Spotted Hyena RANKING: None AGE: Adult PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Riza sports a light tan coat with darker brown legs. Her build is somewhat muscular for a female, more on the big-boned side than the tiny, lithe end of the spectrum. Thick brown spots dribble across her pelt, a little lighter colored and less noticeable than most others. About halfway down her wide legs, her coarse tan fur gradually changes into a darker, mud-stained brown. The tips of her paws and toes are an almost-black shade of brown. Her tail tuft is also this color, except for there's large chunks missing from it due to fights that happened throughout her life. in the circle, the circle of life personal information
Along with this sense of faithfulness to the Njozi, Riza is extremely defensive of anything about her or her tribe. On any border fights, she’s been known to get so angry at someone’s trash-talking or insults that she will immediately start fighting, and it doesn’t even matter if it’s a lioness along with her pride. You could say she’s so blinded by this that she’ll willing jump into trouble without thinking. In all honesty, though, Riza's a bit of a scaredy cat. If you've ever heard the expression, 'bark's worse than her bite,’ then you’d know right away it applies to this hyena. Though her stature may say otherwise and she may come off as intimidating, she can’t really ‘walk the walk.’ As soon as she launches herself at, say, a lioness, once she realizes she’s in over her head she’ll go hightailing back to where she came from. She’s all bark, as they say. RELATIVES: [Open to Plotting] HISTORY: Riza hasn't always lived in the elephant graveyard. In fact, she and her brother were born in the desert, of all places. Generations ago, when Simba reclaimed the Pridelands, a small group of hyenas fled toward the outskirts of the desert in fear of retaliation from the new king. A very small group has been there since, living by scavenging and picking off poor animals that wandered into the area. The heat didn't bother them as much, thanks to their lighter coats, but the heat still bothered the wandering animals. Since they were already starting to get weak and dehydrated by the time they got to them, the prey was fairly easy to get. As their numbers slowly grew, though, the already-bare desert became less and less reliable for meals. It seemed like the animals they'd been preying on were beginning to learn from their mistakes, leaving the hyenas and a fairly young Riza with no choice but to returnto their true homeland--the elephant graveyard. hakuna matata everything else
