PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION: Kianga is a medium built lioness with a light cream pelt and amber colored eyes. She has a facial mask that ends at the back of her neck, her paws are slightly colored like socks, her ears are tipped underneath, and her underbelly are all the markings that she has. All of them are the same uniform color of a pale cream shade, lighter than her main shade. Her tail tuff is a dark, golden brown color which can be seen on her nose and the insides of her ears. She is built for stamina in a hunt and though she lacks speed, she makes up for it in power. Kianga could be the lioness that either kills the prey or brings the prey down for someone else to make the kill if she ever hunted in a party.

personal information
PERSONALITY: Kianga might be just starting her adult years but this young lioness is extremely intelligent. She can quickly examine a person and get a good bases on their personality from just a few short meetings. Quick-witted and sarcastic at times, Kia uses her strength of mind to protect herself as a wandering female. Once someone gets past her preliminary assessment, it is very easy to see that Kianga is a good-nature lioness and also a good listener. Although she is on her own, she loves to interact with any king of young creatures and has a soft heart for those who are younger than her.

However, there is another side of Kianga that can quickly be noticed if she is angered. Not only does Kianga have a fiery temper but that same temper can go on for days before the lioness settles down. She always goes out on a hunt to let the pent up emotions out which also helps to calm her temper quicker. She is a fierce protector despite the inexperience she has in fighting. Kianga would be an extremely good cubsitter for her love of children and her protective nature combined with her temper.

Beside children, Kianga loves the places she has seen as a lone lioness. She enjoys the small oasis she has found even to the driest deserts. Kianga enjoys the company of others but hates talking about herself or her past, despite it not being tragic or rough. She simply believes nothing good comes out of living in the past and so talking about it would be almost like living in it. Sometimes Kianga can be stand-offish around new people she unsure of or cannot get a good read on their personality. It is not something that she likes about herself, but it is a good defensive measure. Kianga is very easy going but there are a few things that can trigger her temper: one of those is bullies; she honestly cannot stand it when people pick on those weaker in their delusional minds, another is thunderstorms; Kianga does not get angry at them but during a storm she can be agitated and snap at anyone, probably the one that get her angry the quickest is power-hungry animals; killing or banishing others just to further increase ones power is ludicrous in her belief and she will not stay in a land for very long if such personalities exists.

    --- Twin sister - [Wanted]
    --- Mother - Nomadic Wanderer - Huntress
    --- Father - Lone Male - Unknown

HISTORY: Kianga was born to a small nomadic pride of lions with her twin sister seconds before her. Growing up for the girls was not difficult, the lionesses were very skilled in trapping their prey before the final kill. Being females meant that they were taught mostly to hunt and the laws of hunting. Kianga excelled in the lessons while her sister took some time to understand the dynamics of hunting. Eventually there were other cubs, younger, in the pride and Kianga enjoyed it whenever she was given the task to watch over them. Her sister would constantly complain about cubsitting which caused a few quarrels between the twins. Kianga was known to have a hot temper and feisty personality growing up while her sister was more laid-back and more concerned about how her fur always looked. The two of them were nearly complete opposites but were joined to the hips practically.

Being the youngest did not mean anything to Kia, she would always lead her sister into adventures and her twin was always happy to follow behind. When they started to mature into adolescents, it changed. Kianga was more focused on hunting and providing for the pride while her twin always had the males of the pride on her mind. The dry seasons were the roughest times of their lives, until they became of age themselves. When they had just turned into adults, the pride abandoned them as tradition to keep their numbers small and protect the eldest of the pride. Kianga was furious and hurt. She felt abandoned and betrayed at the time and it took a few seasons for her to understand why they did leave them on their own. Kianga's twin went off on her own, a capable huntress but only just, as she had grown independent of Kianga and wanted a family of her own instead of always hunting.

This left Kianga to herself, as they were the only cubs born that were now of age to be left on their own, and at first she had a difficult time readjusting to her new life. Eventually she decided it was best if she led the life of her birth pride and therefore, she became a nomadic rouge herself. She has seen many different lands and just as many different prides in her travels. None of them have appealed to her enough to convince her to stay. She has just made it through the Tawi Forest and is now within the Pridelands, simply observing the inhabitants here.

QUOTE
Kianga slowly walked through the open plains of the Pridelands, caution reverberating from every single fiber of fur standing on the back of her neck. Normally the light colored lioness would not be as nervous, however; she had heard of turmoil recently hitting these parts of the Savannah. Kia was one that would not stick around to be caught up in a power or territory battle which had nothing to do with her. Perhaps it was the skittish animals simply babbling nonsense, but it was enough to put Kia on edge.

The young adult tread closer to the local watering hole, hoping that no other lions would be there. She only wanted to quench her thirst and then move on like she had been living her entire life. These lands were intriguing and hard to leave; Kia found herself constantly roaming around the Pridelands more and more, investigating all the different areas the local pride of lions controlled. It really was an active and healthy looking territory. If the rumors of hyenas were back in these lands is true, then Kia would have to be especially careful. She was a lone lioness, without a pride or even a male, and had little strength against the numbers hyenas could produce in a fight. If they wanted to, or were desperate for food, they could kill her without much effort.

Sometimes Kia cursed her family's way of living, sending the next generation to face the world on their own while the family's bloodline continued to thin out. It was not like she had much of a voice in that matter any longer. It had only been a half year since they had abandoned her twin sister and herself one morning. Kia briefly wondered how her older sister was fairing out on her own...perhaps she had found a pride of her own? She was always talking about finding a strong male and producing acceptable heirs for him and starting a pride of her own. Kia snorted at the thought of her power hungry sister. All she wanted was to be queen of some pride or make her own so that she did not have to do anything for herself. Well, as Kia's mind ran through many different thoughts, she had finally reached the watering hole...
