When joining....

When you first join, your character is a wanderer with no alliance. They must travel to the Lord and Lady of the Alliance they wish to join and seek thier approval. To do this, create a new thread in thier lands title "New Arrival". Now you must create a sample post for them. They will accept/decline and catogerize you as they see fit. If you wish to remain a wanderer please contact the main admin stating this, and she will categorize you.

Joining 101

Okay, we've been having problems with joining. Here are a few tips of your friend Com.


Read all the messages on this board at least twice. Make sure you understand everything.

Go to the joining board. Use the correct form.

There are no lights and darks. You can be:
Fire
Earth
Water
or Sky.(tell me if I forgot something.)

Your character may have any disposition, no matter what alliance they are.

You only have to post a sample post if you are trying out for a lord or lady. Or trying to be a special creature, in this case, admin's have the power to accept or decline you based on RP skills.

Your post can be as long as you want, but don't make it too short. Try to use proper grammar and punctuation. This will make me like you.

Wait to be accepted before you post anywhere else.

When you have been accepted, keep one liners to a minimum, and have fun!

*Force breeding is allowed, but force claiming is not, mares can choose who they go with
*Mares may claim terras, but cannot challenge a stallion for one
*Stallions are by nature stronger then mares
*You must wait three days after breeding to give birth, then you MUST post the foals stats
*Fighting, and breeding MUST be done in the areas specified
*No pleasure breeding, if you breed you have a foal
*You may steal mares
*There is ONE acception to force claiming, that is to hold a mare/stag hostage
*If you break any of these rules then you will be warned once and a slash will be put by your name, we will keep a list of who has slashes, so if you erase yours you will immediatly be deleted, if you get three slashes **you will get warning when a slash is added** then you are banned for one week, if you get four then you will be deleted.

Species of Sweetwater

||These animals are very rare, you must ask permission and add a sample post to your character profile. I will decide who gets to be any of these. These creatures are very special to sweetwater, and each character MUST be treated with respect. Thanks for your cooperation.||

~Werewolves/animals~

Very mysterious creatures, thier personality depends on the moon, when it is full they are at thier worst, they loose control of thier mind and thier memory untill the next phase when they are returned to normal.

Werewolves/animals are normally found in groups. Though one or two may wander, they stick to packs. A were animal is the same as the wolves, except you can be any animal....snake, cougar, bear, panther....etc....and have the same traits as werewolves.

~Unicorns~

Unicorns have powers like horses ||You may choose any power of the five alliances|| but stronger. They have a spiral horn growing from thier forehead, that is where thier magic is held, it glows when the equine has strong emotions. They also have wings, normally a span of 8 feet, that are connected to thier spin.

Unicorns are rare because thier blood can heal any and all injuries or illnesses. Though the blood does not need to be drained, most equines will do so to get the most of the healing power. Thier blood is silver and the most sought after substance in Sweetwater.

~Pegasus~

Pegasus are fierce fighters, they are thought to be even stronger then the air alliance. Thier wings are much larger then unicorns. Thier blood is emerald green, and is used to build strength. With each pegasus an equine or werewolf/animal kills, they grow stronger.

~Shapeshifters~

Not much is known about shapeshifters. It is said that they crawled out of the deepest depths of hell. They take the form of either equine or canine, and are able to shapeshift into any and all animals.


((The specias below are the normal inhabitants of Sweetwater, permission and sample posts are not needed if you would like to be one of these.))

~Equines~

There are four alliances, sky, water, fire, and earth. If you do not want to be with an alliance then you are a wanderer. You do not lean towards any side, and mostly keep to yourself.

~Wolves~

They are quite similar to equines, with the alliances and neutrals. They may feed any time without permission from a mod or admin, but to kill an actual character, you must have that persons permission.

When more wolf characters join i will add terratories for you also. But untill then, there will be certain lands that the packs stick to ||according to your alliance||

Alliances

Each specias ||read the specias of sweetwater for more info|| must choose an alliance, or stay neutral. If you are part of the air alliance, no matter what specias you are, you are allined with the sky, whether equine canine or a special character. Wolves are not at war with horses, horses are not at war with shapeshifters, only alliances are at war.

Fire~

These equines are quite gruesome, and enjoy killing as a mere sport. They are very brutal, but have close relationships to those of the same alliance.

They are strong willed, but prefer the company of others....i.e, they probably won't be wanderers.

Thier special power is pyrokenesis **the ability to control fire**

~Water

They are quite gentle but prefer to wander, they are compassionate and very loving.

These equines are one of the very few who will go against the air, along with fire, they are one of teh strongest.

Thier special power is healing

~Sky

Those of the sky alliance also prefer to wander, but will join other harems

They are kind when the need arises, but tend to be a little stand offish

Thier special power the ability to control the weather

~Earth

They have very strong family bonds, and most will spend all thier lives with a mother or father

The earth alliances special power is telepathy


The History of Sweetwater Valley

Long ago, four brothers wandered these lonesome lands, searching for a place to call home. When they stumbled upon Sweetwater, and all it's secrets, they claimed it. Together they formed the five alliances, fire, water, earth, and sky. Granted thier magnificent powers by the fate Evira, each took part of the valley for himself. The brothers grew jealous, and greedy, ploting revenge and betrayel. Soon they split all together, declaring war amongst themselves. That fued has not died, but become stronger over the years as the numbers have grown. Now as man threatens the valley of Sweetwater, and the battle at it's peak, will the entire inhabitants fall beneath the crushing wieght of fate, or will they someday join together, like thier ancestors were, hundresd of years ago?
