Appearance
Ellie is a very pretty girl. Her hair, right now, is a beautiful shade of honey brown, and it comes down to about three of four inches past her shoulders, though it's been all different shades and styles, from long and blond to short and black. Her eyes are dark shade of brown that almost seem black. At times, she can bat her eyelashes, giving her eyes an innocent look, and other times, she can give a stare that, if they could kill, would kill you on the spot. She has an oval shaped head, and she has a tall, skinny neck. She has a small birth mark on the left side of her chin, but, other then that, there really aren’t any blemishes, or zits, or anything else like that, on her face.

Ellie is a skinny girl, but that doesn’t make her weak. She’s actually very strong, and she has actually gotten into a number of fights. That’s what happens when people underestimate the young lady. People also think she’s anorexic, though they would be wrong about that too. She’s quite short for a sixteen year old girl, only standing at 5’7, which is why she wears high-heals all the time, letting everyone think that she’s really taller. Her wardrobe consists of tight jeans and nice shirts that sometimes, more often then not, reveal a little too much, but hey, Ellie grew up in the area of France where people don’t care about that sort of stuff.She has a small scar the size of a penny on her left arm, due to what happened to her when she was twelve, but no one really asks her about it, and she doesn’t really tell people.

Personality
Ellie is the carefree, bubbly, not caring sort of person. She almost never plans ahead, going full throttle with what life is going to throw at her. Extremely kind and caring, she is never one to abandon someone in their time of need. Usually quite socialable and can ramble at times. She is extremely independent and has a tendency of being stubborn. There are days that you will catch her in a bad mood, though still quite socialable she will not be as kind nor nice and can be quite snappy at times. But, every rose has its thorns.

Ellie looks like a sweet girl, and she is, but she’s also incredibly feisty. She doesn’t like people talking to her like she’s a child or stupid. It’s degrading and disrespectful. Ellie is a respectful girl, giving it to others and expecting some in return. But if the person becomes disrespectful to her, backstabbed her, or she doesn’t think that they deserve any; she won’t show it to them. Sometimes, though, she can’t help to be a little stuck-up. A major flaw in her is that she tends to be like her mother. Now she just likes to indulge herself in exhilarating things. But with all her bad qualities must come some good ones. She’s a loyal friend and would back up any of her friends. She is a lively soul and likes to be around people that make her feel good. Little kids are just adorable to her and she has a heart towards people with cancer or any disease. She wants to help little kids the most though.

The way that Ellie is a majority of the time would be just this. She is very outgoing. Period. There probably isn't a thing out there that she wouldn't try at least once, assuming that she hadn't made a promise to someone or herself that she would never do it. She'll be the first person out there to stand up for what she believes in, or what she may think is right whether or not she really is or not. Her number one priority is her friends. If they aren't having a good time, then she isn't having a good time and there is no way to get around that other than to cheer up those around her. She'll become rather spontaneous and try and get others to join in on her escapades, especially if she thinks that they are ones they would enjoy. She's also a very down to earth person. She doesn't believe that she is any better than anyone else, she's humble, and modest. Not only is she those things, but she doesn't take things for granted. She lives every day as if it will be her last because she has lost too many friends to think that death happens at a time that can perhaps be predicted.

When it comes to holding a conversation with someone she is a natural. She doesn't try to make herself the center of attention, nor does she cut into other's conversations, but instead she starts up her own with whoever is around her. She'll find someone who looks lonely, waltz up to them, and just begin talking about life with them. To her just being able to talk to someone about little details or even just random things is very important. You find out a lot about a person by the things that they have to say, or don't say. She will tell someone exactly what is on her mind and more. The truth is something that is very, very important to her. She doesn't like being lied to, and finds that she has trouble trusting someone after seeing that they have lied. It’s hard to get back from that. Some things that she can excuse though are white lies because she herself has been known to tell a few when necessary, only to be polite. When she talks to people she never tries to offend them because she isn't a rude person. If, on the off occasion, she does hurt someone's feelings that didn't deserve it she will do everything in her power to try and make it up to that person because that's just who she is.

She tries to be happy under any circumstance because she doesn't want her emotions to get in the way of others. This plan never truly works, ever. She'd rather make other's happy then worry about her own problems, and though she is a great listener, and most of the time very good at giving advice, she never let's others help her out. She is a very independent person, and believes that you can never truly live your own life if you always follow the advice of others. In order to experience things you need to go through it first hand.

Ellie takes life in stride. It takes a bit of effort to get her upset, at least visibly so. She is good at keeping her anger in her head and not out of her mouth. Bottled up emotions are never a good thing, but Vesuvius isn’t quite her style. Ellie is more likely to take her anger out on a pillow than a person, she is relatively harmless. Crazy as she outwardly seems, Ellie doesn’t drink, or smoke, or do drugs. She will tell you she is high on life, which is cheesy so don’t ask her to be a puff-buddy. She may even try to lecture you on the dangers, or steal your car keys to keep you off the roads.

History

Writing sample



Giselle is a newcomer and is a French middle child, in Wren with a partial scholarship. She's good at her music (that's how she got in to the Academy) but she is also gifted with the ability to see the past, present, and future. She's a 'Tainted' child, but she doesn't know it, and she intends to use her power to find out if there is anyone like her around the school--and hopefully get their help to find out why she has such a power. She's determined, headstrong, and she won't let anyone stop her.
