She blinked her eyes open carefully, not used to the sunlight at all, even if it was streaming through the leaves and not hitting her at it's full brightness. She breathed in the fresh spring air of the forest and sat up, staring around her. Either this was a new trick Lucifer felt like pulling, or she wasn't in hell anymore. Her green eyes stared widely around and just to check she reached out a hand to a barely blossoming flower, it bloomed brightly and other flowers started popping up all around her. She laughed and stood dancing around in her newly created field. She was home, she was free, that's when it hit her. How could she ever face her family again after slaughtering half of them and chasing off the others? She sat back down trying to think up a way to explain her actions to her sister, to Rhia.

Bryan admired his newly-acquired badge. No, he hadn't earned it, it was a souvenir. He had cut down the officer wearing it, and taken it for his own. Who knows what kind of nasty tricks he could manage with a badge? He chuckled darkly to himself and tucked it into one of his coat pockets. He felt around, patting his various pockets to find something of importance and grinned as he found it. He pulled out a small, thick tube. He shook it once and it became a telescope. He scanned the forest, wondering what kind of trouble he could get into before his sister would come running to chase him back out. She usually didn't even let him past the border, but he'd avoided the place for awhile... Perhaps he'd just take a stroll around the lake. He didn't feel too dastardly today, maybe he'd just enjoy the sunlight...

Who was he kidding? He'd turn the lake red again. He snickered and tucked away the tube, stepping off of the cliff he had stood on and soaring towards the trees. His coat billowed out behind him like wings and he put his arms out, grinning. He dropped under the cover of the trees when he saw a griffin lift off from the other end, disappearing in the undergrowth of one of the lesser-known parts of the forest. It then occurred to him that he was suddenly in a field of flowers, and he frowned. The flowers recoiled from him, blackened, at his command, and he looked around for the culprit.

He spotted Thia and tilted his head, vaguely recognizing her. She was still and looked thoughtful, but he was just the kind of ass to go over and poke her with the toe of his boot. "Hey, you alive?"

Out of no where a vine reached out of the ground grabbed his ankle and pulled his foot out from under him. She looked at him, and since she was angry the red shone through her eyes making her look like Rhia, when usually the only way you could tell who was who was Thia had green eyes.

"Don't. Touch. Me." Being in hell so long he could also probably feel the waves of the dark magic radiating off her. Hey you can't spend almost a lifetime suffering without picking up a few things.

Unsurprised as ever, Bryan just tilted his head at her as he carefully regarded his new position on the ground. He decided that, since she was sitting too, it wasn't much of a loss. His skin easily burned the vine, having plenty of dark magic himself, and he tucked his legs beneath him, placing his palms behind him on the ground and looking genial. It'd be a lot more genial if he didn't have black eyes.

Thia was beginning to become unnerved by the staring, she continued to look at the ground, wondering who this guy thought he was and why he was interrupting her misery. "Go away." She said through gritted teeth, hoping to sound intimidating.

Bryan decided that annoying a pretty young thing in distress sounded like fun, and shrugged his shoulders at her threat. Nothing intimidated him much anymore. Knowing that you pretty much couldn't die put a real damper on that. Instead, he asked, "Why?" as he folded his arms behind his head and lay back, crushing her flowers in the process.

"Because you smell bad" She wanted to smell the sweet scent of the forest again, and the flowers she had created, that he had killed. Yet all she could smell was the dark power rising to meet and carefully dance with his, as if it was testing him, trying to scry out a weakness.

Bryan almost looked offended. He bathed often, enough to have girls fawning over him in the next town over. He pulled the collar of his shirt up to his nose and smelled nothing but his cologne, lightly scented for demon sensitivity. "Nonsense," he declared, and returned to his position. He allowed his power out to play, but not all of it. Never all of it. He liked to be underestimated. It made things interesting for him.

Thia growled in frustration, then stood. "Fine." She decided to storm off instead, towards the lake, maybe she could call up some water lillies to dance around on.

Since she was so new out of hell and not used to her powers anymore, she couldn't control them so with every step she took another bed of flowers appeared behind her.

Bryan laughed as she walked off. Oh, he'd be seeing more of her, that was for sure. He liked her. His sister came out of the trees to his right, putting her hands on her hips and glaring at him. He pouted at her, but huffed, "Oh, fine." He got to his feet and shot into the air. Liz watched him go and then inspected the beds of flowers, looking deeper through the trees and seeing a trail of flowers. She headed back to the tavern to see what Rhia thought about this.

Rhia was waiting for Tristan, he said he needed to do something at the lake, but then he'd meet her here. She looked up expectantly then pouted when it was just Liz.

Thia saw someone else at the lake and tilted her head to the side, he was tall, and kinda cute. She stepped forward and tested the air, and he didn't have the same dark power smell as the other one had though he did smell familiar. "Excuse me?" Her eyes were still red from the stress of the day.

Tristan had been on his way to the lake, picking up flowers as he went and in the best of moods. He looked up at Thia, sort of, and locked onto her face. He knew it wasn't Rhia because he saw with other senses than his sight, but his eyes narrowed and he took a step back. "Yes?" he said, hoping that there was some chance of his mistake.

Liz thought about how to word it, before shrugging and deciding to blurt it out. "I think your sister's back," she said plainly. "And in the forest."
