This is old..posted before at other sites too lazy to make new ones..

First of all u need 2 programs image ready (Photoshop) & Powervideo Converter http://www.adobe.com/products/photoshop/main.html (image ready)
DOWNLOAD REUP 01/09/06
Power video converter

Before starting create a new folder in your hard drive/computer & copy & paste your file u want to extract in there. e.g D:\gif C:\gif etc whatever drive u use to store files in.

EXTRACTING IMAGES WITH POWER VIDEO CONVERTER

1. Open up power video converter
(Posted Image)

2. On the side menu Click on Extract Images
(Posted Image)

3. Where it says Source file across from it click on Select to choose what file u want to extract
(Posted Image)

4. Now click on the left arrow botton (Posted Image) move it to where u want the clip to start extracting.
(Posted Image)

5. Click on the right arrow (Posted Image) move it to where u want the clip to end extracting.
(Posted Image)

6. When that is done on the botton click on Extract Images
(Posted Image)

7. When it's done just click on ok..& you have extracted your images.
(Posted Image)

This is my way, it looks long & complicated but once u use to it, it will be easier. U can make gifs using imageready only but i haven't tried that so i can't tell u how that works. If anyone has a quicker way please make a tutorial for us.

(Posted Image)

5. To change the gif size go to Image scroll down to click on Image size
(Posted Image)

(Posted Image)

7. To change the frame size (Width, Height) click on Image scroll down & click on Canvas Size
(Posted Image)

8. Change the Width & Height percentage to what you want, play around with the setting until u find the right size. Also choose which way u want the frame to move. Anchor (up, down across etc)
