Every year, author Brenda Novak hosts an online auction to benefit diabetes research. Editors, publishers, agents, authors, and many more donate a slew of items for the event, including things of benefit to writers, and many more items for readers. There is definitely something for everyone. Previous years have offered writers opportunities for critiques, mentorships, editor appointments, website design, ad space, etc. It's definitely worth checking out. The items change all month long, so be sure to check by frequently.
