Title: Where are you?
Description: daily 1000 words

I have been slack and you haven't even cracked a whip! No words Thursday and Friday. Thursday was just too noisy around here. I couldn't think. Friday I went shopping for shoes - jeans, tops. I do tweak a chapter but no new words.
Today I have to do 3000 to catchup!

Shipow!!!
Today is Sunday. Unless you go to one of the Sunday-go-to-meeting-with-dinner-on-the-ground, then you have no excuses, Missy.
Tie yourself to the chair!
Open up that word processing program!
Process some words!
Lots of WORDS!
I'll be back to check on your progress. There'd better be Progress!
That is all.

I hope to do just that - oh! Whoo you! Bigger font. I love it!
I wrote 800 words yesterday, while at the same time playing with Lakota (3 yrs old) so I think that should count double ;) Mama wasn't feeling well so I was designated playmate.

800 words yesterday, but what about today? Hmmm? I want progress with a capital "P"! So that would make it Progress!
My orders: eat three Hershey's kisses and get back to work!
that is all.

Well, I am working - at my real job. But I plan to peek in after hours and try and get another 1000. I'll let you know. Thanks, you're doing a great job.
Now, where is your report? Don't make me have to come over there. B)

Hey! I didn't have a working computer of my own until last night. I am now the proud owner of an ASUS laptop with a 15.6 inch screen and enough RAM and stuff to do me for quite a while.
I've downloaded my favorite writing program and my WIP. Now I expect to blaze through some words. I hope.

All right! Unfortunately I only got a few lines written last night. Normal my little family leaves for the weekend to visit inlaws, but they stayed home this weekend and I just could not think with all the activity. I am teaching writing workshops this week so I will write along with my participants.
So, clean slate, let's git'er done!

I might just give it up. Today no words on the novel, which I am tiring of. And if I am tired of it for sure my readers will tire of it too.
I have been working on some articles.
My daughter advised I might be using my time better if I were writing queries to market my YA sequel to Pale as the Moon and my grownup novel, Ethan. She has a point I think. :(

But...but.... You could try killing off a character and seeing where that takes the story. *grin* That ought to make things interesting.
I have received my "this-is-your-chance-change-it-now-or-forever-hold-your-peace edit from my editor. I have my red pen in hand, looking for pesky mistakes. Wheeeee!

Oh boy! have fun ;)
I may just have to accept my short time goal will not be reached. I have to do some major re-writing I believe.
I have been teaching my "front porch stories" workshops again this week and it has really made me want to go back to my "memoir" stuff. I always get more ideas and prompts from listening to the other writer's stories. So, the novel is probably going to the back burner again.
And I am going to try and concentrate on some marketing as well - or get down and make a decision about whether to go ahead and SB Bear Song (sequel to Pale as the Moon) I have a few more folks I am waiting to hear from before I make up my mind.
