I liked the first Dune books before the author must have slipped too many magic mushrooms in with the rest of an unhealthy diet... I am more than a little crazy myself but I like at least a semblance of coherence.
Bladerunner is an awesome movie. Just like the old Star Wars ones and Gattaca it pretty much defined the genre. Now I have to find all of it and watch it...
Hmm if I should add something here it would be the works of William Gibson, the genius who created cyberpunk. Most of his stuff is really worth a read or two :)
On DUNE, isn't that how series generally go too? I hateit!
Yes, you're Mad, Ben, but lovablemad. :D
Yep, liked Star Wars, funstuff. :) Remember liking Gattaca, but too vague now.
I love a million sci-fi movies, too many to leave here, heh.
William Gibson--duly noTed.--What's cyberpunk?
the fastest way to describe cyberpunk would be "high tech and low life"

The concepts behind 'Predator' and 'Alien' rock. (Not against each other, that was just silly.)
Getting more towards the fantasy side of sci-fi, the thinking behind The Matrix has be tops. Everything is an illusion, nothing is real. I can't fault that. (And if I found a fault it would just be a glitch in the Matrix.)
Matrix (the first) is still one of my big favs. It's cyberpunk at its peak and at its best B)
