I'll be adding pics onto this topic when I can get to my home computer, so don't worry about a lack of images.

Aldar is going to be a Gia, or a horned "man-wolf" not werwolf. Basically, they stand about seven feet tall, males grow curling ram's horns sprouting from their foreheads.

They live in the Forbidden forest, and obviously, since they cannot use wands, they use their own inherent form of magic, though the strength of the spell is goverened by the Gia's physical strength. If they try to use a spell that takes too much energy from them, they die.

Gia have a lifespan measured in centuries, though the oldest known Gia is about three-hundred.

They can be killed by the Avada Kedavra curse or with silver ammunition.

So far, they are neutral in their alliance with either the Order or the Death Eaters, though Aldar's particular tribe is partial to Akara after his braver with Aldar's father.

Okay, sweetheart, I think it's really cool how you are trying to bring a whole new concept into this RP. However, the idea is for it to be, well, humans only. We might be able to allow this one. I'll talk to the other Admins and we'll see if we can allow it. It may be a matter of how he would fit in with the other players we have on the board right now. Also, I encourage you to take a look at the addition to the board plot when you are thinking up your own ideas.

We have discussed the matter and think it is best if you try to have a human character first. If you keep that one active and show you are skilled at RP, we may go back to our decision and allow you to have a nonhuman character. We'd like you to earn the opportunity for us to bend the rules. But for now, please stick with human characters. Remember, you can play a Hogwarts student, Adult Wizard/Witch, or a Muggle.
