Chainstory, yeah, we need one

It's merely called the Gate. And from this gate, strange things have begun to appear-- hostile things. Creatures never before seen in reality, creatures never even imagined.

And they began to attack the cities. Sometimes in swarms, sometimes in ways of cloak and dagger, like inhuman assassins with human intelligence and sleaze. With the coming of these demons, civilized behavior had begun to plunge into violence. People of the law were often the victims of savagery among the current youth.

Marisa leaned against her motorcycle, taking out a cigarette and lighting it. Her handgun reeked of smoke, having just raided and mowed down a gang of street brats that planned to have a shootout with the local authorities.

"Pitiful kids," she mumbled.

[Lone Wolf]

*KABLAM*

A gunshot was heard in the area where Marisa was, followed a couple more, then a full array of gunshots were heard. Most surely there was an open gunfight near Marisa's vicinity.

" COME ON GUYS! LET'S MOW THEM DOWN! "

There was a group of 5 guys shooting at another 5-guy group, while a guy was checking the battle from a destroyed wall.

" ...we're facing our end, and they're still fighting? " He wondered outloud, his voice covered by the gunshots. " Well damn them, they don't deserve to live... "

From his pockets, he produced two grenades, and threw them at each group.

*BOOM* *BOOM*

The man turned away, jumping down from the wall and walking away, unknowingly towards Marisa.

[Starblader]

He didn't realize that there was someone else there until he heard the click of a semi-automatic, which was probably aimed towards him.

"You with the cops?" Marisa asked calmly, puffing a careless cloud of smoke into the air.

[Lone Wolf]

" Cops? Hah. They're scared sh*tless, they stay in their homes. They don't get out and try to fight the bane we're receiving. " The man said, with a scorned voice.

" If I were in the cops, I'd eat a grenade and run into a group of them. " He added.

" And you? " He asked, not moving.

[Starblader]

She suddenly shot the ground just in front of him, chuckling to herself. "What if I were a cop, hm?"

[Lone Wolf]

" If you were a cop... "

The man laughed. " Why would you want to be a cop? "

[Starblader]

"Maybe because I also believe in some corrupt ideal of justice, that the city in which we live can be a better place without all the ragtags and monstrous creatures that come down through the Gate," Marisa said with a smirk... and another puff of smoke.

"Why wouldn't you want to be a cop?"

[Lone Wolf]

" Because the only way we're pulling out of this is by ourselves. "

Suddenly the man took out a pistol and shot forward into the darkness, earning a guttural scream as a huge form fell to the ground, dead.

" No one can do it, except for us. "

[Starblader]

Marisa dropped her cigarette and ground it beneath her foot. "What's your name?" she asked casually.

[Lone Wolf]

" Since you were the one with a gun pointed at me, I'd rather you give me YOUR name before hand. "

There were some moans and groans coming from the darkness.

[Starblader]

"Some call me the Glitch. Some know me as Ayome."

She cocked her handgun and shot it into the darkness, causing a couple of moans and groans to erupt in sheer screams of agony before going silent.

She glanced back at the man. "...You'll know me as Marisa."

[Lone Wolf]

" 'mkay, Marisa. " The man said, firing a couple rounds. " For the moment, I don't trust you enough. Call me Pedro. "

Pedro, which had no semblance of being spanish or mexican, smirked. " You'll have to show me that you're trustworthy to get my name. "

[Starblader]

"Doesn't really matter if you think you know my name," Marisa said with a shrug. "I don't even know what it really is."

She smirked. "Why are you fighting... Pedro?"

[Lone Wolf]

" Because I lost my wife, my kids, and my sanity to them. " Pedro said, as he plunged his left hand into his pocket. " So I'm gonna steal their lives. "

He produced a grenade and threw it towards the groans. He then pointed at it with his gun, while the grenade was in midair, and shot at it, making it explode in midair. Several screams were heard, and for a second, they saw their enemies- zombies. Revenants.

[Starblader]

Marisa shrugged at the sight of them. "Weaklings... I'm outta here for some better game."

She swung her leg over the side of her motorcycle seat and mounted it, revving up the engine. She gave a little careless salute to Pedro. "Seeya, Pedro."
