[Starblader]

The setting sun hung low over the horizon of the ruins of a nearby field. They were a perfect place to practice combat, or hold duels, if they should happen. Among the rubble sat a young, eager girl, growing bored her of her meditation schedule.

[Lone Wolf]

Eidran walked down the road towards the fields, wandering around until he would lightningport down to his home.

" Hmm. This looks like the perfect place to train my Law Magic... " Eidran wondered up loud, being heard by the girl. He took his staff and stanced, oblivious to the girl.

[Starblader]

The young woman heard the intruder approaching, and she opened an eye. By now, her boredom took control of her judgment, and she smirked as a thought came to mind. Silently, she slipped behind some rubble and awaited the newcomer to appear through the entrance.

[Lone Wolf]

Eidran walked through the entrance, his staff at the ready pointing forward. " Law Missile! "

Two weak missiles of energy burst from the staff tip and flew through the air.

" Hehe! I did it. "

[Starblader]

He was the perfect target, and she pounced. "GOTCHA!"

Mariana flew through the air and tackled Eidran to the ground.

[Lone Wolf]

" EIYAH! "

Eidran was easily tackled to the ground as he was light-weighted.

" ...ow... " he muttered, and tried to get up, which he couldn't.

[Starblader]

"Pinned ya!" Mariana cried cheerfully, getting a look at her trapped prey. "Hey, Eidran!"

[Lone Wolf]

" Urgh... hi Mariana... "

Eidran tried to get up still but he couldn't because of the girl on top of him (...kekeke). " Would you mind letting me get up? " He asked.

[Starblader]

Mariana frowned playfully. "Aww, you're no fun..." She got off of him and sat on her meditation spot, crossing her legs casually. "So, what brings you all the way out here?"

[Lone Wolf]

" Well, I've been wandering around a bit before retuning home by lightning teleportation. " He said, getting up and dusting off his clothes.

" And yourself? What are you doing here? "

[Starblader]

"Meditating," Mariana said, a crooked frown on her face as she said it. "Mama says it's healthy for me, but I don't think she ever had to meditate..."

[Lone Wolf]

" Meditating, hmm? You don't strike me as the type of person that needs to meditate, though. " Eidran said. " I think you're more the type to move around, you know? "

[Starblader]

"You read my mind, Eid," Mariana said with a grin. "Don't suppose you can help me handle my adrenaline rush, would you?"

[Lone Wolf]

" I'd rather use magic, but I guess I'll be using my staff for once. "

Eidran grabbed his staff with both hands, then looked at himself- mage robes wouldn't help much in the fight.

[Starblader]

Mariana placed her hands on her hips, looking him up and down. "Uh... Do you really think it's wise to wear those in a melee duel?"
