Martin Reynold
November 29th When the animal took off running so quickly he was left for a moment before he ran after the critter, stumbling slightly as he had looked down to replace his pistol in it's holster on his chest. This was bad, real bad. Who the Hell would want to snatch a little mutant girl out of a place like this. What did they plan on getting out of this one beside a pissed off animal and an even more pissed off soldier? All Reynold knew right now was that he had to get to the girl and that it was on. With the big creature a ways ahead of him he was running to try and keep up, dodging some people that had come out to see the commotion, pushing some right out of the way. He could hear the door slamming ahead and the critter bashing against it.
It was as the furry friend of the girl was getting over that strange sort of freak out he had suffered that Reynold was charging in. His rifle in his hands, he looked like he was there to do some damage. Now, he wasn't sure how much the thing weighed but Reynold knew full well he'd taken heavier doors than this down with a good kick. However, he wasn't in a position to kick so he went with the next best thing. Tucking his head down, his elbow came up some and his torso turned. When Reynold shoulder slammed the door he hit it so hard that it not only opened, it came down, the hinges letting go and the lock torn free from the wood. Falling in on his side Reynold looked up quickly before scrambling to his feet. She wasn't down here. Picking up his rifle he slung it as he rushed for the stairs. Couldn't do a whole lot of shooting unless he was looking to possibly hit the kid. That wasn't what he planned on in this little sortie.
If he caught up to the kid and the kidnapper on the stairs then things were going to get ugly. With his current forward momentum he didn't plan to stop, draw and shoot. Nope, while it might have been the fastest way to end this Reynold wasn't thinking that. Instead, if the kidnapper was in his sights Reynold rushed forward, his right arm pulled back and launched forward in a vicious haymaker towards the chest of the current perpatrator. To be honest to himself Reynold was furious. Who did this asswipe think he was, just snatching up a little girl and running off with her? He didn't quite know but he knew that he intended to make things go downhill for that mook real, real fast. If his punch landed Reynold would take the oppertunity presented by the reaction from such a blow and tackle the man into the nearest wall.
