Pre War

2012 -2096

In America war is normal.

Some still say the comming of the third war was started by the war on terrorism and America. Slowly as we populated our own home planet global warming took it's hold, extinction rates were so out of hand scientists started collecting DNA samples on ice from endangered species rather than save them. Within three years Tigers, Cheetah's, African lions, Polar Bears, Sea Lions, Great Whites, Blue Whales, Gorilla's, Chimpanzee, Giraffe, and the Black Rhinoceros had all but vanished. Only those in zoo's were left standing but the mass extinction didn't end there. As the world temperature went up races continued to drop off, viruses formed in the hot tropics and started killing the cattle.

India took the hardest hit, most of the people starving in the streets. Children left without parents, and America still using up more and more resources in their war. During these tense times scientists tried to find a relief, a quick fix and for a while we had found one. Yet quick fixes never last long and once the major strain was solved they never sat back down to think it through again or correct the issues. The only answer was clean fuel but even if we could discover perfectly clean fuel it was already too late. The gears of war were already set in motion.

Time went on and famine hit again, livestock starved, crops withered, and our supply of fossil fuels were dwindling. The first of the wars were savage wars. Fights over fuel, fights over food. We were like animals beating out neighbors to death for clean water. Third world countries fell into chaos as China built up forces. Everyone was weak, the governments were failing. Within five years three American presidents were killed. No one could fix the crashing economy and fear issued. When new means of energy were thought up the major powers breathed a sigh of releife. Economies recovered and we survived our close call but the tension and the crimes between countries remained. In 2098 the first signs of a third world war were noticed when China took Japan and used their technology to improve their military.

The Great Third War

2097-2154

This started as a war and ended in extermination.

In 2097 April 16th the third world war got it's official start. China and Japan attacked America and the countries announced war. The UK joined forces with the US and Russia took their moment of weakness to get their revenge and make their own move. Within three years the rest of Europe became involved. The war started as any war and over the years turned chemical and viral. Before America could get it's foothold in China Russia destroyed the motherland leveling their cities and leaving none standing. The UK turned on Russia before they could make another move and China invaded Europe.

Within years Europe tore itself apart int eh confusion and the UK unleashed a mass of chemical and viral attacks in China almost completely wiping out the population. Those who survived the attacks were only but shadows of their formers selves so deformed and sick to even raise a gun. Biological war continued as the war became one for power over the other countries. Russia created the first biologically enhanced soldier the Yara by crossing wolf and human DNA. They were a huge success getting the major foothold Russia needed to take power over all the worlds but it hadn't lasted long. The other countries got to work on their own modified soldiers, Spain, France, Germany, and even the UK.

Genetic research became number one priority. Eventualy Russia was destroyed by their own soldiers, the Yara hunted down the human population and were warded off with Viscar soldiers. With Russia out of the way the UK and Germany remained the last two super powers. It was then the moment history was changed forever with the Jackal warriors. Never had there been a soldier as feared, as deadly, and as efficient. Jackals were often sent in to 'clean sweep' areas. Kill every living thing in site, women, children, even the elderly. For many years the war leaned in Germany's favor as the Jackals ripped through the countries butchering everyone in their path. The world shook at the sound of their hollow voices crying to the sky and salvation seemed impossible.

Just when the end seemed so clear the UK rose up against Germany with the Reapers a highly advanced version of the Jackals. Germany and the Jackals fell in months and the UK took full control over all the world. When the peace treaties were all signed the war was officially over and everyone breathed a sigh of releife. The minister of the UK spoke to the people of the world saying peace had come and under the power of the UK the world would be rebuilt.

Post War

2155-Present

Now we stand at the edge of tomorrow staring into the abyss and wondering what waits us there.

Building a council to unite the country states a new government was put in place. The world was rebuilt with a promise of peace and for three long years we have watched the ruble rise into grand cities. Humans walk amongst each other felling safe. The remaining Jackals that had haunted our dreams were tracked down and killed. Those who escaped the government vanished into the wastelands never to be seen again. Though it appears the world is perfect looks are deceiving and corruption brews within the belly of the government. We have been promised peace but somehow all of us know better. We can smell war on the winds, a war that will either make us free or pull the noose around out necks and condemn us all to hell. Rebels rise against the Republic and criminals devastate those outside the city limits. Worse of all tales have been told of Jackal armies organizing themselves and searching the wastelands for something of great importance to them. In a world so new with so many fresh wounds anything could happen.
