A tall lean woman Jan was clearly breed less for an impressive and attractive human figure and more for the agility and grace needed to do her job. Selectively bred to hunt and kill top political and military figures Jan is somewhat pretty though there simply is something about her that isn't quiet human. To a human she is fairly plane looking, rather pretty to some perhaps but a bit too tall and maybe to lean for them but to other Viscars she is prime breeding stock. She had dark curly hair and enchanting green eyes. Her skin is pale with one beauty mark. Humans may find her rather pretty in her natural state, meaning the state she is in when not about to fight. Yet they would be horibly repulsed by her full on fighting and true state. When angered like all other Viscar her reaction is violent. Her pupils grown large enough to cover the whole of her eye making thin completely black. Her fangs extend showing rows or long sharp fangs, and her claws extend into large black talons. Not so pretty now is she? Yes, Jan is you average Viscar, tall, dark, and bitchy.

General Personality: Jan is truly a traditional Viscar, very cat like. She is independent, unpredictable, only cares about herself, and never listens to anyone. She shares power rights to her little crew with her brother. The two have a constant power struggle over who is top boss but often switches back and forth depending on who has the upper hand for the day. Jan is normal only interested in herself and what she can do for others so that one day they will have to give her something. She never helps people or does favors for free. Whenever you ask her for something expect to pay handsomely. Jan was original breed to hunt and kill political and military figures and still has that killer quality about her. She will still take private hits from people but again, you better get ready to pay handsomely. The only time Jan seems to leave her bitch mentality and overlord queen ego behind is every other month when she goes into heat. For two weeks every other month Jan gets overly friendly and super sensitive to everything. She seems to bring out that stereotype only during this time that Viscar are promiscuous though what people mistake as one night stands is nothing more than Jan trying to get knocked up. Like all other Viscar Jan is incapable of real relationships since being very cat like Viscars never mate for life they only mate and move on. However her brother does seem to be rather close to her and often times fights off other male Viscar from his sister. Little is known about her feeling for him or her thoughts on it for that matter and because so many potential Viscar mates are chased away Jan has a long track record for fooling around with humans.
Jan was born in a lab in a Viscar breeding program. Jan was breed specifically to be a perfect assassin and that was just what they got. Both Janette and her brother were raised by her mother for the first five years of their lives and closely watched by the scientists. At the age of five they were finaly taken away to begin their intensive training. Jan wasn't the most aggressive member in the group, in fact most of the time she clung to her twin brother refusing to leave his side, too afraid to be away from him. She was a skitish child something they blamed on her closeness and dependency of her brother. In order to cure her of this they separate the two and put her in another laboratory. For the next three years Jan continued to be a shaky skitish child with little to no aggression in her.
When she finaly did start coming into her own Jan was bold, stealthy, smart, and cold blooded. She made everyone proud by meeting all their goals and proving her good breeding. At the age of thirteen she had her first mission. Sent to kill a major UK general Jan snuck into his tent late at night, cut his throat, drained him of his blood, and was gone without a trace. It wasn't until age eighteen that she started showing her rebellion and unwillingness to cooperate. Attacking her handlers she escaped running towards the UK army in hopes of being shot but instead she found herself being taken prisoner. They gave her an option, work for them or die. Though Jan was not too keen on being someone else's slave she arranged an agreement. If she helped them in the war then they had to agree to give her citizenship after the war and let her live her life freely.
Naturally when she got the chance to go back to Romania she looked for her brother Mathew. Janette was afraid, afraid to find him dead, hurt, that he would have forgotten her but she never gave up. Eventualy the UK got a strong foothold on Romania and Hungary and shut down their labs to halt to production of more Viscar. All currently active Viscar were gathered together, either they could chose to work for the UK government or die. Matt was one of the few trying to rebel and was shot in the chest. When Janette was brought in the translation she saw the soldiers fire at her brother and immediately ran to aid him. She begged to let them spare his life. That she would take care of him if they did.
So Matt came to London with her and stayed with her in his flat. For a while he had played the forgetful one acting like he couldn't remember her until she broke down with sorrow and heartache. Realizing his joke had hurt his sister he told her the truth, that he had never forgotten her and feared they had killed her all those years ago. With Matt back with her the two worked on contract assassinations for the government right up until news of the Jackal army advancing on the city came to them. They were some of the first evacuated from the city and moved to Mecha. With the pay from the military they bought their own building at first having it as a rest stop for the military until the end of the war when it was converted into a night club.
With the war over many Viscar became wanderers not sure what to do with their lives. Both Mathew and Janette decided it was only right to take those willing under their wings, those Viscar who have now become the staff of the nightclub and live as a clan. Jan is one of the only Viscars to share leadership with another mostly because she and her brother have a strong bond that is often times questioned. The two and their clan are mostly left alone since they both have citizenship in Mecha and are protected by the government. Jan strives to have a family and keep her family safe while keeping her power. She constantly fights her brother to keep her alpha female status and to prevent him from over powering her though at times it seems the two are going to murder each other they have yet to do so. Life is hard enough in this new world, finding your place and keeping it, life is even harder for Janette who faces the fact that the Viscar race is a dieing race and she wants nothing more than to save them.
