UNLUCKY highway 95
Through the forests and mountain regions of Withering Tales, is the hideous roaring and growling of motorized vehicles that are used to transport humans from place to place. This is the place where most of our horses come to this place, bloody and bruised from a car crash. Yes, Highway 95 is cursed, and most horse trailers never make it around the mountain with out crashing, and that is when horses spot their freedom.

LONERS' ridge
After staggering away from the mile around Unlucky Highway 95, you enter a large expanse of pine trees and elevated grounds, until you come to a ridge, where straight down lies the mountains of Withering Tales. The place you have wandered onto is Loners' Ridge, a place where you can still hear the sirens from highway only a few miles away. Luckily, this place is where the lonely and lost come to find herds, mainly mares seeking a stallion to invite them into the living of the wild.

OPEN retreat
As all other lands seem dangerous and cursed in a fashion, hidden in the trees to one of the lowest areas of Withering Tales is a large grassland. If one traveled down the safe heights from Loners' Ridge, they would come across the flatter of all lands. There, the grasses tickle deer's bellies, beautiful emerald with ivory Queen Anne's Lace growing in the summers and springs. Woodlands surround it, worn down game trails intersecting across the whole expanse. Littered randomly in the woodlands are smaller pastures, good clearings for mares with their offspring. The rivers from Crossed Waterfalls flow through here, familiar scents flowing with the water in the outer regions, until it empties itself in a lake. The crystal lake is a large one, the soul water source to Withering Tale's open regions. Here, is where the flatness ends, and a series of water falls tumble off a small cliff, and into the heartland.

RUBY BLUE lake
The lake that Open Retreat surrounds, the populace in the area appreciate congregating around it, as if it is some sort of gossip spot as to where the rest of the retreat is for less joyful meetings. Surrounded by the prairie, Ruby Blue lake named for the red lake weed it houses is vast and large. One wouldn't dare try to swim across, as the depths can get dangerously deep for the tired, but that doesn't mean you can't enjoy the natural springs with a swim near the shores.

FOOTHILLS tranquility
This is for lights and light herds.
Risen at many elevations around the miles and miles of Kavenoir Mountain base, Foothills Tranquility is an area in which all herds may mingle, making allies with each other, and on rare occasions, rivals. Littered with prizes, this is a beautiful forest of birch and elm, sprinkled with flower patches on the hills that roll and eventually collide into Kavenoir Mountain Range. Yet, as rain falls a wall of water rushes through the blades here and tumbles into Foothills Wrath, unearthing many dangerous creatures.

FOOTHILLS wrath
This is for darks and dark herds.
Much like its protιgι, Wrath is a vast area at the base of Rancose. Herds come to mingle here, make alliances, chit chat about the recent happenings, and more so than in Tranquility, make rivals. The foothills are always bustling with life throughout the elm and fir trees, shaded nicely for comfort with several large valleys rolling with hills to serve as the main grounds. It seems like it is the most peaceful spot in all of Rancose - perhaps it is because it's so close to Kavenoir?

NO MAN'S pass A dug out scar in the face of Withering Tales, No Man's Pass is a small canyon walkway through the point of which Rancose and Kavenoir's cliff estates fall. Brave horses travel through here, and it takes much heart and wit to get through without being spooked due to the dust kicked up by the wind. It is a maze of twisting and turning crags, littered with those unfortunate to have fallen from the above terrains. Can you make it through?
All characters must first roleplay coming in through No Man's Pass before they can begin roleplaying in other areas of the East.

PUMA lake Like its counterpart in the larger heartland of Withering Tales, Puma Lake is a popular place for the creatures in the Eastern side of Tales. The waters are abundant with fish life, and clean enough to drink and bath from. The mild forestry surrounding it makes the place not half the size of Ruby Blue Lake, and not nearly as unique, it is an average body of water for which the lost and weary can find good times resting in the peaceful shade of the surrounding cliffs and mountains, listening to eagles and hawks call as they fly overhead.

THE mines Usually horses avoid the underground due to the rockslides that occur more often than not, but there are a few brave enough to venture in, ignoring the long forgotten skeletons from the last rockslide that scared away the two-legs. No one really knows what's done there, though some say they've seen carts full of yellow shining rocks.

ABANDONED quarry This land is for Neutrals.
Though Light and Dark hatred is towards each other, it doesn't stop it from rubbing sides with the Neutrals as well. This place is a long forgotten patch of land that served as a mine quarry at some point. Some old carts still sit on the overgrown tracks, others toppled at the entrances of the mines themselves, decrepit buildings further on in the trees if on is brave enough to look. The small long forgotten pasture with its primitive old two-leg rusting instruments and homes has wrought no favor to alliance, and therefore Neutrals make homage here.
