Delibird's Holiday Delivery!, The Holiday/End of the Year Promo!

Willowvale's Year-End Holiday Bonanza

It's that time of year again. The Delibirds are flinging presents, the Snovers are coming out to freak unsuspecting students out, and families of students are invited to spend time with their Pokémon-training maniac children. Gifts are being given, holidays are being celebrated, and even the teachers are... sort of... getting into the spirit of things.

This year, as has become tradition in Willowvale Academy, the students find themselves endowed with gifts from all over. Sweaters to help them along, snow boots so their feet don't freeze off...

Pokémon, items, and other goodies as a sign of potential growth for the year to come...

That's right, it is not only the time of year for potential romance, joy, stress, and celebration, but it is also the time for your year-end promo! (yaaaaay)

There's a strange Delibird going around campus, handing actual gifts away to students. He is a special Delibird, looking rather dapper with his white headphones and black bow tie, running about and spreading joy and cheer! He has an impish nature and a rather high level (so challenging him to a battle will only end in pain and suffering, even for the highest student-leveled on the island), but he'd rather hug, cuddle, and spread confetti!

So, how does one go about getting these 'items of joy, happiness, and confetti'? Well, that's fairly simple, and comes in two parts. Listen close or I'll come eat your babies okay?

Part One!

For the first part, you post below with a wishlist of the three things your character really really really wants. This can be a Pokémon [which if selected will end up at it's most basic stage, at level 5 with 10 affection and 10 beauty, but you can choose ability, trait, gender, shininess, and egg move], Rare Candies [if you get this option, there will be 5x rare candies, and they will be tiny candy canes that the shop values at 400 credits each], Lucky eggs, Gemstones, Pokémon Eggs, Technical Machines, Hidden Machines (That's right! You can get one!), and even a sprinkling of confetti that can help beauty or affection [at 10% of one or the other], pretty much anything and everything [Some restrictions apply, see staff for details].

The Fine Print on Your Choices

If you are to select a Pokémon as your choice, it is again at it's most basic stage with 5/10/10. Everything else is something you may choose, but they will not start with move tutor and/or TM/HM moves. You MAY NOT CHOOSE a Legendary nor MAY YOU CHOOSE EEVEE. This is a new rule and it seems weird, but we're doing it due to the overabundance of Eevee on the island. Also, all Pokémon come in Cherish Balls =w=

If you are to select an egg, it starts at 25 egg posts, 0 affection and 0 beauty. You may also select whether you wish for it to be shiny or not, and same Pokémon restrictions apply (meaning no Eevee). Egg move, nature, gender, etc are randomized upon hatch.

If you are to select items, the credit total can come to approximately 2,000 Credits (as sold by Trainer Triumphant). That's right, 2,000. This allows us to give you Lucky Eggs, EXP Shares, and other random nonsense. That being said, if you are to choose Evolutionary Items, Technical Machines, Pokeballs, or anything else that comes with a value under 2,000 Credits, you will be given a number of these things that is as close to 2,000 Credits as we can make it. You may not choose a variety of the same thing (as in, you get two Hail T Ms and not one Hail and one Rain Dance or one Hail and one Thunderstone). If you need help with prices, ask a mod, as we have a master list. Examples: 5 scarves (you can pick colors), 4 perfect poffins (single flavor for each but can have different poffins), 20 Pokeballs. Ask about TM worths: They range from 700-2000 credits each.

If you select pure money, 2,000 credits will be added to your account.

If you are to choose an HM for your choice, it may only be one HM as those are expensive and let's not be too greedy.

Then, and this is the most exciting part, a staff member will come along and randomize an option for you! You only get one option, and, once the staffer randomizes it, no take backs or changes!

Oh yes, and it is per character! That's right, each character gets his or her own wishlist!

Part Two!

Now that you know what your character is going to get, it's time to give it to them! Yaaaaay! In this part, you create a topic somewheres, and it can be a social with another student (yay two presents in one with social credits wheeee), it can be a topic with a little storyline to it (so a big moment for x character because you're getting a fire stone for your eevee and wooo EEEVEEEE EVOLVES yaaaaay modded affection bits), or it can just be a stand-alone with yourself. What you must do in this topic is roleplay out the strange Delibird giving your character their gift. Then you profile request the gift (or wait for it to be modded or whatever) and wa la! It's yours'! Yaaaaaaay!

The Holiday Social!

That's right, there's another part to this! We loooove giving things away on the holidays, so there's another opportunity for you to get 1,000 Credits! All you have to do is participate in a social that has the theme of Winter Activities. THAT'S RIGHT, winter activities are the theme of this social! Snowball fighting, sledding, a winter run, baking holiday treats, sobbing at the fact that the snow's here, culture shock because you are unused to snow… the possibilities are ENDLESS but make sure it's a WINTER ACTIVITY!

In order for a social to qualify, other than meeting the 'Winter Activity' theme, you must have two or three different characters (only one may be played by you. Talk to others) and you must have started this topic after this topic has been posted! No sneaking in topics that you've started previously! Each participant must also post a grand total of 3 times to qualify (more is encouraged because we love reading it).

Once all that's sorted out, you may profile request the social and get your credits yaaaaaay~

You may combine the Delibird gifting with the Holiday Social! However, the Holiday Social must be a social thread and must include at least one other person! You may not have a Holiday Social with yourself, but you may do the Delibird thread between your own characters.

THE DEADLINE!

That's right Vio's mean! There's a deadline to this! Everything must be finished and on it's way to a final modded/profile request BY January 1rst at 11:59 PM or else you get nothing!
