The college there caters to students wishing to pursue careers as Pokémon trainers, breeders, and coordinators. The setting of the RPG is present day, in the fictional town of Willowvale on Khyra Island, just south of the Orre Region.
Autumn is in full swing now and everyone can definitely feel the change in weather. The days have become shorter, the nights longer, and most Pokémon are getting ready for a long winter. Most of the days are cloudy or grey with only a few revealing the sunlight to the wandering students of the college and villagers of the town. Rain is more prominent, coming in the form of short cloud-bursts to full on thunderstorms. The night is nippy, to say the least, and sweaters, hoodies, jackets are a must have to keep warm. However, the sky during the night is extremely beautiful, often dotted with stars when the clouds have moved on.

Altai Cliff
Situated behind the school and casting it something of a shadow, the Altai Cliff sits. On the other side it lies crescent beach and the ocean, a typical spot for students avoiding classwork to pass the time.

Ambleleaf Forest
Tall thick trees make up Ambleleaf forest. There are many paths through the forest, not all of which are human made. Hunting trails and dens are common, and Pokemon swarm at every angle through the woods. A softly gurgling stream cuts through the forest as well, a prime resting spot for weary trainers. A variety of berries grow deep in the forest.

Lavia River
The river is at the very edge of the grounds and is a prime fishing spot. The water is icy nearly all year round and is a dangerous place for swimming, though some students try to anyway. The current is strong enough to drag them under and drown them.
