The sun shimmered up above, casting light down on the camp. It was empty, and it had been since the arrival of Ivorystar. There was something pathetic about there being a camp so lost and forlorn that there weren't even really any scavengers searching for the cats who might have died here, perhaps in some great battle against the other clans. It would have been honorable, but the dark beast highly doubted it as the scent of death was no where near as strong as it would have been if death had occured here; still it was a fantasy that the territory he had just taken over had once been something of greatness. There was nothing here but a dark, ebonite, boulder that stuck out in the middle of the clearing, and the dens that surrounded that, not to mention the leader's den. No one even made a noise as he leapt atop the great mass of rock and glowered down.
A yowl errupted through the vacant camp, strong and powerful. It made a promise, one that if any cat were to show up, they would be under the influence of power; power beyond measure, perhaps. His orange orbs cast downward as he ended his call to those that may roam the forest; it he could he would go seeking new help, new alliances. Of course there were benifits in being teamed with another, even if he was someone that worked alone, perhaps the rogues would have something to offer. His claws unsheathed and he gripped them into the stone, making his mark there, drawing his daggers along the black surface until he had made his own blood seep through. This camp was his.
