Anne Bullen Name: Anne Bullen
age: 22
Sexuality: Straight
Profession: Reporter at the Gotham Gazette/Gotham Globe
Side: Neutral, leaning towards the good/just
Eyes: Hazel
Hairs: Black
Height: 5'6"
Weight: Wouldn't you love to know
Striking features: Anne Bullen wouldn't considered any of her appearance striking, some have noted the contrast of her dark hair and pale skin.
Appearance: Pale skinned, black-haired and hazel eyes, Anne looks more like a real-world sleeping beauty, then her idol titan-haired Nancy Drew. At only 5'6”, she lacks the physical appearance to intimidate but due to her personality, many tend to overlook such facts. Though she may not be 'jacked', nor look like the fittest person; Anne makes up her lack of stature, by making sure that she is fit. She holds more of a running build than a body-builder.
Anne's physical appearance is usually over powered by her personality. Her hazel eyes are always on the move and filled with a spark of excitement. Her hands always moving in sync with her voice, the more excited she is the more her hands move. However, her appearance changes immediately when the situation turns serious. Her eyes become darker, hand movements cease, her mouth becomes set in a thin line, and her hair, if not already pulled back, is done so; by the many hair bands on her wrist.
HELLO BEAUTIFUL
Personality: A reporter by job but a sleuth by nature, Anne will never give up on a story. Stubborn, if not fool-hardly so, and usually rash thinking her need for a definitive ending and, though not always possible, justice has put her in undesirable situations, and at odds with the past police precincts of her past two hometowns. Ability for quick thinking and lucky chances is her constant savior in such precarious situations. Her colleagues at work would probably describe her as outgoing, energetic, optimist and compassionate yet competitive with a love for any form of humor, the drier the better. They would probably also admit with a slight grimace that Anne has an annoying knack for saying the worst type of puns when given the chance. Outside and during work, Anne's personality is not much different; the only major difference is that of the wardrobe. A jean-and-sweatshirt addict she would prefer to be searching through records and around Gotham city for a scoop then stuck in her office in jackets and pencil skirts. Thus her out of work outfit is that of one of her million pairs of jeans and her cross-country sweatshirt from her time on her college team. Anne likes to think of herself as a hard-worker, someone who is willing to hunker down for the long haul. A lover of challenges, and adventures since a child, Anne felt that a move to Gotham was just the prefect mixture of those two elements.
Anne one weakness is that she could be considered a hyper-sensitive person, bad things, personally or more communal, affect her deeply. Her ability to deal with these stresses or any problems in her life, relates back to her childhood up bring of Texas tough mentality, 'when things are tough you just work through it.' She found that running was the one think that could help her work through it. To Anne work has to be fun or at least something you love, for it is work that gets you through your good days and your bad days. Though Anne has also found that physical running is not her only escape, when scared she finds she sometimes faces an emotional fleeing, preferring to fall back into solitude then to admit to anyone that there is a problem bothering her.
Yet for the most part, Anne is a person who loves city life, and the people. Despite all the terrible things that have happened in Gotham she finds herself with the hope that perhaps Gotham isn't so lost to the darkness. That perhaps there is a chance for Gotham’s redemption; that this chance in the hearts of all the citizens, well, at least some of them.
Unique Traits/Skills: What Anne would consider her most unique trait or best skill is one that she has been working on since she was about 10-years-old. It is her keen detective sense that has served her as a teenage sleuth in her small hometown. This detective sense is composed of three things, the first unquenchable need for answers, these answers have to be found out by her only, and being told is never good enough. Second is her logically thinking, which allows her to think even headed in even the worst situation well usually. Lastly is her ability to sneak about blessed with a basically athletic build, Anne manages to get into and out of all the places she needs to be, well again usually.

HISTORY:
Born to Thomas and the late Elizabeth Bullen, Anne was an only child. Faced with the death of her mother in a car crash when Ann was two years old, Anne grew-up very close to her father. Despite such Anne continued to thrive as a young girl in a small seaport town in the Northeast named Marion, where Anne was constantly involved with other people lives. When you live right next door and see a person every day how can you not be. Anne was one of those some might call a community child. With her father constantly away due to fast-paced job as a D.A. Anne was left to be raised by an assortment of other grown-ups during her constant jaunts around the town. Anne like to consider herself a real world Nancy Drew, and was constantly attempted to since a young age (7-8) sneak into her town’s police department to pick up a case; much to the annoyance, and later to be admitted humor, of the police chief, Captain Smith. Despite her multiply attempts it wasn’t until she turned sixteen that she picked up her first case, ironically enough it being of stolen clocks and hidden wills. It is the solving of this case that proves herself to the population of the town. Thus making Anne because the town's own teenage sleuth.
Despite Anne’s love for sleuthing, or maybe because of it, she realizes it could never be her job. As a childhood dream, it was clean and pure, and despite the danger, the childhood dream was an escape into a ‘different’ world. To make it into her job as a P.I. or a police detective would dirty the innocence of her dream. With this knowledge, she heads off to UMASS, where she discovers that while she can’t do entirely what she wants she can do a close second, thus Anne enters the world of reporting. After spending time exploring different towns of Massachusetts to report about, she realizes none of them are really ‘her cup of tea.’ When her eyes turn to Gotham, she can’t help but jump to a challenge one that she is sure is a stupid and rash as it is exciting and adventurous. Her move to Gotham has really change her life, from a boring a boring small town girl who worst crime was a kidnapped pooch to a women to has witness half of Gotham blow up due to a psychotic clown.
