Information Descriptions of things, maps, pictures, all that jazz, are found in here. Not sure how something works? You'll probably find the answer in here!
Humans If it's got two legs, two arms, and neither tail nor wings, chances are it's human and it belongs in here. Approved riders and nonriders alike are found here.
Pets Hey, this is Southern. Firelizards do occasionally show their glittering little heads. Should you manage to nab one, their profile will be moved here once it has been approved.
Beach Just outside the wide mouth of the Weyr is the ranging beach. The Weyr is situated under and beside a very wide bay facing approximately north-north-west, and is protected by the many scattered islands all around the peninsula. The beach itself is fine-grained sand and the waters are clear, and rapidly deepen. Away from the water is a swathe of coarse grassland and scrub clinging tight to the rocky hills hiding the underground Weyr. Be careful when walking through the brush: not all of the entrances to the Weyr are known yet, and none of the secondary entrances have been modified for human access yet.
Weyr Dome Rather than the Bowl of a Traditional Weyr, the Dome is the massive cavern accessed by the main entrance. It is roughly circular, and gradually slopes downwards away from the walls to meet the massive central pillar. This pillar is partially surrounded by a deep hot water pool, fed by the spring that runs above the Weyr from the quiescent volcanoes to the southeast to the sea. Glow moss grows readily across all the walls, ceiling, and floor, though wide paths have been torn by dragons and riders. There are many tunnels snaking off from this large chamber, with varying inclinations and starting heights.

Healer Tunnel There are three sections to the tunnel claimed by the Weyrhealer. The first is a large swelling of the tunnel, named the Healer Bay. Shortly past this is a nook just large enough for the Weyrhealer and his dragon, and then around the bend the tunnel empties into a large room riddled with shallow crevices. It has been appropriated as a storeroom, and is gradually filling.

Dining Hall and Kitchens A second, smaller cavern is partially open to the Dome. Improvised tables and seats have been set up in the wide mouth, and those riders with cooking skills have set up fire pits beneath the large hole in the ceiling, open to the surface. A corner of the room has been set aside for food storage.

Underground Weyrs One of the tunnels with a destination that springs from the Dome leads to a downright warren of bubbles of a wide range of sizes. As the glow moss grows here as well, light is really not an issue, although noticing the holes in the floor can be. It will take some practice and some modification of the tunnels for them to be truly inhabitable, but already some are choosing the safety of rock walls over the exposure of beachlife.

Aboverground Weyrs A tunnel next to that leading to the warren of underground weyrs divides a few times before emerging to the surface some distance inland. At the present time, only a dragon can enter or exit through these holes, but they do open out into a number of very pleasant fields, some with spectacular views. The more distant openings are in the beginnings of the jungle rather than rocky scrubland, and as such tend to be surrounded by fruit and insects.

Local Skies General airspace immediately surrounding the Weyr. Mating Flights and casual flying- or perhaps a game of tag?
