I'm surprised a cartoon series based on JP never took off. I remember reading an article where supposedly a ten-minute pilot for a cartoon series was produced, but the producers caught Spielberg on a bad day and he refused to even look at it. I also remember hearing that the Chaos Effect toyline was based on the scrapped cartoon of the same name and while the cartoon was cancelled, the toyline was too far into production to be cancelled, so it was released.

I wonder how a JP cartoon would've fared? I think with decent writers and storytelling onboard it could've been something cool and worthy of the JP name. I'm not sure if I would've been crazy over Chaos Effect, to me that's just simply not JP.
