An Apology

Hello members of Wasted Time.

I realize that some things have gotten out of hand on the site. I also realize that I have grieved a couple of members and highly offended others. For this I would like to sincerely apologize. I find that it is my inexperience as an Admin that has lead to this mess. My intention was not to hurt anybody or even call anybody out. My intention was just to gather opinions. I also find that this has portrayed myself and my fellow admin as leading folks on. Again, I apologize. That was not the intention.

All I personally wanted to do was make Wasted Time active again. I feel that my partner feels like wise. We just wanted to breathe life back into the place and get some plots up. We wanted to give people things to do, things to think about.

We didn't want to agitate folks. The mutations discussion was obviously a poor topic for us to bring up again. But I personally take responsibility for that. I had been confused on many points of conversation in the previous thread. All I desired was clarification. Indeed, we had been talking about the possibility of mutations. But that's all it was, talk. We wanted it to be more of a debate. We had no real intention of putting mutations on the site.

Again, I apologize for jerking folks chains about. I did not mean to imply that we were going to have them by putting the poll up.

As Admins we also have come to the conclusion that we are not going to be able to be true to Wasted Time. Khays thought process is her own and Wasted Time is her baby. It was perhaps stupidly brave of us to take the time to try. But the reality is that it was an unwise and dangerous thing for us to undertake.

Khay has also expressed interest in taking the site back. It is great news that her muse is back. It is wonderful that she feels like she is able to handle the site once more in light of all her troubles. I am personally glad she feels such inspiration again. And I have no issue in giving the site back to her.

So once more Wasted Time is Khays to own. I find it fitting, seeing as it was her sandbox to begin with. Only she really knows the fine nuances of the ideals that went behind WT.

I wish all of you luck and love in your ventures here. And once again I'm sorry that I mucked things up so horribly for folks. That was not the intention and rest assured that I feel horribly about it.
