[Alright. Is now a good time to get the two love birds into some trouble?]

Crowfur gave Briarpaw a glare. "We will not attack them unless provoked," he said, and turned back to the scent, "Hmm. It seems that our AirClan friend wasn't the only one over here." He flicked his tail for Shiningheart again.

[Mistyfoot]

((Sounds like a plan.))

Briarpaw grumbled but bowed his head to his elders. He didn't see why they had to just let AirClan wander around his territory. Shiningheart sniffed the ground as well and nodded. "That's one of our scents." He mewed carefully, worry flickering in his eyes. Brairpaw fell silent and stared at them. Someone in his clan? They had a traitor? It was impossible. He shook his head. "No." He mewed. "There must be a mistake. No one in our clan would associates with those- those-" He spluttered, unable to find a word. "Those pieces of Fox dung." He said at last, his hackles up and his eyes wide. "It's just impossible."

[Dove]

"Briarpaw!" Crowfur sounded like he had been clawed in the face, "Just because we don't get along with them, doesn't mean you can insult them!" The black tom began to sniff the scent and frowned. "Is that Foxglove?" he murmured, "She smelled different in the camp, but this is totally new." He walked over to the rocks and began to sniff. "Shiningheart," he called, "I think she's pregnant." Jumping off of the rock, Crowfur padded over to the whole with the branch. "She must've helped someone out," he sighed, and began to sniff the branch, "The AirClan cat must've gotten stuck...but that brings us back to the first question. What was the cat doing on our territory?"

Briarpaw flattened his ears against the rebuke, but didn't take make his words. "But they are trespassing so they are fox dung." He muttered rebelliously. Shiningheart flicked his tail across the apprentice's mouth. 'Have you ever wondered why you are banned to the camps so often?"

Then he looked back at Crowfur, his eyes wide. "Pregnant? Yes...that would explain a lot." He thought for a moment. "I suppose or best action is to find the other patrol then go back to Dovestar and get permission to go talk to AirClan," He shot a glance at Briarpaw, "civilly."

"I don't think Dovestar is up to a meeting," Crowfur worried, "I suggest that you, Shadowmark, and I go to AirClan."

[I think my muse just died...]

Shingingheart nodded. "Sounds best. But we should still get her permission," he added, ever the loyal deputy. Briarpaw was outraged. "I don't get to come?' He yowled, ignoring a stern looked from Shiningheart. "But... I helped discover the scents."

"Briarpaw, you're too hotheaded to face AirClan civilly," Crowfur snorted slightly, "You are going to stay in the camp."
