Young men find "normal" sized women more attractive than size zero celebrities, research has suggested.

Male students at St Andrews University were asked to rate female faces for attractiveness and health.

The study found that girls with an average weight and build were ranked as being the most attractive and healthy.

Researchers said the findings sent out a strong message to young women who believe being underweight is considered to be attractive.

whatyever women do for appearances is in most case to compete with other women, not to impress men. Men don't care about shoes and handbags and designer labels.

This isn't about clothes, this about weight. Men do care about that when it comes to women. I know from personal experience that men do not like skinny women. I also know that men choose women based on appearance, it's part of the natural selection process (survival of the species). Men are going to want to reproduce with a woman or women who look like they can survive.

The skinny look is the invention of gay fashion moguls. Even women that are naturally thin (usually petite) don´t look like that.
