Richard Goldstone delivers report to UN.

When I googled 'UN Gaza War Report' I got Stories on Israeli's reaction instead of on the report itself at a rate of about 10 to 1. Israel has attacked UN bias and one of the investigating team but has not refuted any of the evidence presented in the 500+ page report. Whats new?

I have not et read the report but I will find it and send you the URL. In any event, the U.N. has NEVER been an honest broker in the Middle East and the report is immediately suspect to begin with.

The brief summary I got on the TV news here stated that the report accuses BOTH sides of war crimes.

Sounds about right to me...but of course Googling finds hundreds of accusations that the report was biased because it is (inevitably) critical of both sides.

Have fun reading it tonight. I will enjoy reading how the artillery shells destroyed the homes of the god cursed palestinian terrorists. I love a good comedy.

So we have the Goldstone Report. It should be called the Iron Pyrite (Fake Gold) Report.
The U.N. wants a sanitized war where no one is hurt, there is no damage.
In the US decapitation of the Taliban the UN wanted a halt in the war so that Taliban fighters in the hospital could heal and and return to the battlefield.
This is lunacy.
The Goldstone report does not distinguish between the palestinian aggressor and the Israeli defenders protecting women and children terrorized by the thousands of rockets fired by the palestinians. The Goldstone report further refuses to acknowledge that Hamas began a murderous rampage, firing thousands of shells on women and children – innocent civilians, instead of rebuilding Gaza and caring for the population's welfare. Hamas builds tunnels and uses civilians and children to shield terrorists and hide weapons.
That makes the civilians legitimate targets in a war.
The bottom line is that the report is a political instrument disguised in a legal cloak, but is legally unfounded.
What this report really means is that Israel is the only country in the world which is not allowed to defend itself against acts of terror.
Israel is the most threatened nation in the world and yet it makes the most effort to avoid harming innocent lives and any comparison of Israel's fight on terror with recent conflicts in Kosovo, Iraq, Afghanistan, Pakistan, Iran etc. immediately shows that Israel holds itself to the highest ethical standard.

The biased Goldlstone people should be on their hands and knees thanking Israel for keeping the muslim forces of barbaric behavior bottled up.

We all need to remember the hideous muslim woman twirling her tongue and passing out sweet cakes celebrating 9/11 and the slaughter of 3000 innocents by muslims. These are barbaric people that practice sub-human behavior and inflict a plague upon humanity.

If there is anything I have learned about the middle east, it is: This is were common sense and moderation go ... and than evaporate.

The governments of both sides cannot easily be distinguished, both sides show ruthlessness and disregard of human lives and both sides stoke the flames for domestic policy reasons. And do not forget that there are actors who will not follow their government, but only their own rules. On both sides, of course.
