This forum is for ongoing discussion of news and current affairs. Since there a a wide variety of views we expect discussions to become heated at times.

This is fine, but as with the original WHYS blog the only rules are:

-no profanity

-no attacks on individuals or groups

By all means argue your point as robustly as you want...just don't attack or insult the opposing person.

Unlike the BBC blog, we can be a bit more tolerant of longer posts...and so-called "chit chat" is allowed but only in the Off Topic forum.
