Hey I don't know if anyone can help but I am looking at starting a VolksRod ratrod-style project and I need some help. I have got alot of elements sorted but I am not sure what to do for wheels and tyres. Can anyone help me in that region (they cant be expensive though as I am not made of money). I also need help with what to do with windows because I would be looking at doing a chop top.

Thanks for any help and/or suggestions

Get some pics up of your sorted elements on the introductions page.

banded steel wheels are popular on the rear end and don't break the bank. I saw some for sale on a site called parts emporium recently. you don't need huge wide wheels though, you can put quite tall tyres onto standard wheels. Look in the garage scene and see what everyone else is doing.
You'll find all the info you want on glass in the technical section- enjoy your research!

if your doing a chop then plexi glass is good as its easy to cut with a jigsaw and a fine blade, you can get the scratch resistant stuff so your wipers wont mark it.
ive used it on a few projects and will be doing the same on my roof chop rod once the shells finished
