my name is MR AFWO and ive not been on here for a long wile. ive jus popped on to check out whats goin on in the volksrod scene.

im more than impressed with what ive seen. ill certainly be poping on here to browse and keep up with all the happenings. keep up the good work you guys and ill look forward to seeing some of these wiked rides in the flesh at the shows n stuff.

i thought i'd show you guys some fliks of my bug now ive rattle canned it.
it shows what ya can do really easy on a very very tight budget and still steal some looks.
ive posted some fliks of it on here a wile back, when it was blue.
its not a volksrod but im still having fun and driving with big fat smile :afro:

work started outside me house

rain kept holting play, so i gained entry to a disused workshop

a few rolls of masking tape n free papers, a couple of red scotch brites, some degreaser n tack rags plus some boxes of brown hairy arseholes.

THE BIG FAT MONDO HAS GONE

kept scrapping it on speed humps and god knows what, pushed the merged header up onto the pushrod tubes and bust a couple, so opted for a reguler bugpack header and glass pak. much better and much fun now im not worrying about dumping oil evreywhere

i love the fact you used someone elses unit! genius! looks tons better too. i've always been quite impressed with plasti cote stuff. always comes out will and wilco's sell it for like 3.99 a tin!

cheers guys, its all about having fun for me and im driving with a smile even when me rear wheel hub deciceds to spit out all its teeth and give up all forward drive.

welcome mr afwo. nice to see im not the only one rattle canning there dubs.
ive built a few cars over the years and have done a fair few in rattle me can matt black or camo.
latest one is a wizard opera coupe (willys) fitted with a 1.9 water cooled t25 engine.
painted in red oxide and hit with a light coat of clear to give it that satin shine.

i hope to se you guys around at the shows
