Title: beam extender reversal

Anyone know if its possible to fit a beam extender upside down?Had mine in the normal position for a couple of years now and since i drag my rod i fancy the GASSER look.......so if I reversed the extender if that were possible?Too much stress in the wrong place? Any ideas? The obvious solution, remove the extender1But I like the look!

I guess you could, but,it will throw out your castor angle for a start.
then you'll have to modify your steering as the extenders are designed
with clearance for your track rods.and after that you'll still only raise
the front 1.5".

why not keep your extender as is,but fit some adjusters in your beam
so you can wind the front up.then get hold of the drop arms and spindles from a 181 trekker.they are,in effect, raised spindles and should lift the front another couple of inches.
lower the rear an inch and you should be nearly there.
