Hi all, Just a quick question well hopefully.
Iam having problems with going from dipped to full beam, i have replaced the indicator dipped/full stalk and also the headlight relay. The problem is, it would go to full beam once then wouldnt do anything. Now it just dosnt do anything. hoping for a quick fix.

Also does anyone know where to get skinny radials for standard beetle rims. as cant afford crossplies.


Oh and how do you test an dynamo? as iam getting a light on dash and no charge.

Your dynamo problem my be causing your headlight problem.
You may not have enough charge in your battery to activate
the dimmer relay.you need to sort your charging problem first.
you can test it with a volt meter.

I replaced the dimmer stalk and relay with a foot operated dip switch,
much more reliable.

Thanks i'll try and sort out the charging problem first, good idea on the floor switch, sounds a good option. Hopefully get an mot soon and actually drive it.
