Good morning upper East-siders. It looks like my city is going to get a whole lot bigger with the arrival of <b>Charles Bartholomew Joseph Bass</b> who is <b>seventeen</b> and joining the ranks of <b>Upper-Eastsider</b>. Gossip Girl has the latest buzz on this newcomer, who I shall name <b>Chuck</b>. First off, our rookie hails from <b>Manhattan</b> and earns their dollar as <b>Student and Business Entrepreneur</b>. It is confirmed they are currently sharing more than a Frappuccino with <b>Blair Waldorf</b>. After checking through all the files I could find on my latest toy, I found their full life history, and thought everyone should know it. After all, this person may have more than a few nasty secrets to tell…

Chuck was born Charles Bartholomew Joseph Bass. He never knew his mother, whom his father had told him had died giving birth to him. Chuck has always felt like it was his fault his mother died, and his father made it seem he blamed Chuck also for her death. Chuck comes from a wealthy background, with his father being a self-made multi-millionaire. He has been raised to follow in his father’s footsteps, which are some massive shoes to fill. Chuck has found he is not coping well with the idea that he will never be as good as his father, and has rebelled instead of faced things head on. His father puts a lot of pressure on Chuck, expecting him to be the perfect son, but also not showing very much ‘love’ for him. Chuck spent his childhood with his best friend, Nate and a group of other well off kids including Serena and Blair. He attends St. Judes, but is well known for skipping class to head to strip bars or smoke weed. He is a womanizer, and believes that no girl in this world could resist his charms. This is probably because no woman has, or at least has given up the chance to get some of his money in their pockets.

Chuck has little respect for women; probably because of the way they throw themselves at him, making every encounter have little meaning to him. He can sometimes go too far, and push himself on a girl without really realising what he is doing. He is not harmless, but at the same time he doesn’t see how his actions affect other people because he has never been reprimanded for it. Chuck lost his virginity to Georgia Sparks, who is quite the manipulator, and probably were Chuck learned the tricks of the trade. He’s never really had a permanent girlfriend, choosing to sleep with anyone and everyone he pleases. He doesn’t do love, which is understandable, considering he’s never really felt loved in his life. Even his own father refuses to love him. Chuck doesn’t try at all at school, even though he is pretty clever. He usually just pays someone else to do his homework, and even sit his exams. He is not interested in education, believing himself more than ready to take on the world without the necessity of school. He has many ideas for his own business, mostly revolving around strip bars and clubs. Chuck still has a lot of growing up to do, and needs to learn to treat others with respect. He seems to struggled with being the ‘good guy’, and needs someone to help him onto the right path.
