Breakfast at Greystone, Tuesday, November 3rd 2009

Good Morning from northern California. The thermometer on the back porch read 51 degrees a few minutes ago and we’re expecting temperatures in the 70s today with mostly Sonny skies. :rolleyes:

Once again, no Rebecca… but Sonny did what he could to facilitate Carly being found safe and sound.

• Lakehouse. Sonny showed up and asked Alexis to help him find Carly. He told Alexis about Mac arresting Jason on bogus charges and asked her to go to the PCPD and help him. Alexis sent the girls out of the room and Sonny stopped Kristina and tried once again to apologize to her for what she heard at the Metro Court, but Kristina told him to find Carly first, then left. Sonny told Alexis he's to take the blame for Claudia taking Carly, he just needs her to get Jason out of lockup so he can find them. Alexis refused to help. Sonny said Carly doesn’t have time for them to be arguing. Alexis said if Jason finds Claudia, he will kill her. Sonny replied that Jason will save Carly and the baby. She told him to let the police do their job, but Sonny said Carly doesn’t want the police, she wants Jason. Sonny said the system won’t do what needs to be done, then reminded her of how she protected Kristina and only got ProBono work. Alexis then told Sonny that Kristina blames herself for what happened that evening because she thinks Claudia did what she did because of the miscarriage. Sonny asked how she thinks Kristina will feel if Carly and the baby die? He told her a lot of people need her to step up: Her good friend Jax and their daughter. And that she needed to show Kristina that compassion wins over and, most of the time, deep down inside, people are decent. Then he asked her to please get Carly and the baby out of this alive.
• PCPD. Sonny and Alexis showed up at the station and Alexis started trying to get Mac to let Jason go. Mac sarcastically remarked to Sonny and Alexis about Alexis representing Jason. Alexis made Mac admit that he arrested Jason for something he didn't do, then told Mac to let Jason go or she will call a judge, probably waking them up, and they will force Mac to let Jason go. Jason was released, saw Sonny as he came out of interrogation, then quickly left the PCPD without speaking to Sonny. Sonny then thanked Alexis for helping him. Alexis told him he can thank her by backing off of Kristina, that she might not be ready to hear what he has to say right now, and to please let her decide when she wants to be part of Sonny's life again.
• Carly and Jax’ house. Sonny arrived just after Jax told Olivia he was going to go fly his helicopter and look for Carly. Jax asked Sonny if they found Carly. Sonny said not yet, then said he was there to pick up the boys. Jax told Sonny the boys had a very difficult evening and Sonny replied that was why they needed their father. Jax replied that he was the last thing they needed. They argued. Jax blamed Sonny for Claudia taking Carly, Sonny blamed Jax because Jax kept his mouth shut when he has known the truth for a while, and Olivia told them to stop, that the boys didn’t need to hear this. The boys came downstairs and Sonny told them they were going home with him. Jax told Sonny that the boys live there, they are a family and they aren't leaving their home to be with him.

What’s up on GH today…
Nothing specific to Sonny or Rebecca.

It’s difficult to put into words what I’m thinking about yesterday’s show. On the one hand, it seemed that Sonny’s anger, and perhaps even some of his power, had dissipated. But it also seemed that he was focusing on what was important: First, getting someone who could find Carly to save them from Claudia; and, second, explaining to Kristina what she saw and why he did it.

I enjoyed the way that Sonny used his very adroit mind to convince Alexis that getting Jason out of lockup was ultimately a way to help Kristina, and I think his way of thinking was spot on. What was rather amazing was that Alexis actually listened to him, saw the validity of his argument, then put her skills to work. Again, I think it was purely for Kristina that she did so, especially since she returned to that focus as soon as she convinced Mac to let Jason go.

Having done what he could for Carly, and being asked to back off of Kristina, Sonny went where he needed to: to get his boys and take them home with him. Jax… what a piece of work. Somebody should have encouraged him to go fly that helicopter so he could go out in a blaze of glory. He’s really getting on my last nerve right now; the fact that Sonny didn’t punch his lights out was 50 points in Sonny’s favor. ;)

So what are you thinking?

Breakfast is served. Max is flipping Pancakes today and serving them with Maple Syrup, fresh butter, Sausage, mixed berries, yogurt, fresh squeezed orange juice from my tree, and, of course, fresh fruit. Sonny’s Corinthos Breakfast Blend coffee is in the pump pots, as well as hot water. Come on into the Living Room and pull up a chair as we make ourselves at home and chat about Sonny, Rebecca, Emily, Maurice or Natalia… or whatever else is on our minds today. Can somebody toss me an orange? Thanks! :D

Good morning from the Twin Cities.

I decided to go to bed early last night, so didn't watch. (Still trying to adjust to the time change.)

I'm actually not surprised at the way it sounds like yesterday went. Mac arrested Jason just because he could and on a bogus charge. Alexis didn't want to help Sonny and is still trying to keep him away from his daughter, Jax making it look like he's the good guy and Michael and Morgan's father and then of course we have the star of the show Olivia made out to be the goody two shoes good person here. Well...I'm glad I didn't watch. You watch shows to relax and get away from your life for an hour or two and GH definitely doesn't do either of those things anymore.

Here's hoping we get a glimpse of Rebecca today.

I wasn't to happy that Sonny had to ask Alexis to help get Jason out of lock-up. Because of Alexis was going to fight him tooth and nail. I did though like that Sonny brought up Krissy and her causing Claudia accident as a way for Alexis to agree. Then right after Jason was released Alexis went back into her controlling mode. Wanting Sonny to stay away from Krissy and give her time to process what happen today. If it was anyone else, I would agreed with her request to wait. But Sonny had been isolated from Krissy for years and the girl have had so many misconceptions about her father...which have done a lot of bad imo.

Alexis conversation with Krissy afterwards about Sonny, that Sonny wants to be a good father, and to never doubt that Sonny loves her. I liked what I heard come from mouth...I was flabbergasted when I heard her say that. But how long will it last? I don't know with Alexis. After all Alexis attitude toward Sonny changes on a dime...

Now to Jax, this man is getting on my last nerve more then Alexis is right now. What is pissing me off with him, is that he sitting there blaming Sonny. If he had come clean with Carly months ago, Carly would not be in this situation fight for her life and her baby life. Sonny had all the right to come an get his boys and take them home. Last time I remember Jax have no legal right to the boys...so Jax need to back the hell off

Hello from Kansas... cool morns, warm afternoons=Nice!

Heres what I thought... Krissy was right-on... she had it right when she THOUGHT her mom was been controlling of her relationship with Daddy.

I also saw "respect" toward Alexis feelings as Krissys mom, when he decided not to argue about "telling" his daughter WHY he was acting as he did.... NOT that I personally feel she deserve that respect... but thats how I saw it.

I didn't agree with Alexis that Krissy needs "more time" --- to what?? to believing Daddy is a monster!? UGH!! I so wanted Sonny to explain to his daughter his actions. I feel that would have made their relationship stronger and better.

Last thought on Alexis is her talk to Krissy about the "good" in her father... I believe what she said, but I question if Alexis herself believe what she says to Krissy of Sonny. I DON'T THINK SO!! :bangshead: If she did, she'd have LET Sonny talk with Krissy! :lame:

Seeing Carly giving birth once again in abandoned place, on a stormy night, reminds me of when Sonny thought Alcazar was hurting Carly and Sonny himself did the most harm w/o meaning for the outcome.
So if the "outcome" of what happens to Claudia is anything similar to that night (above) Claudia may be taking Alcazars place as he did, helping with the birth of the baby and when Carly screams, Jason, Johnny... someone... is going to kill Claudia, thinking Claudia is hurting Carly!

I hope u understand that... its confusing isn't it? :rolleyes:

I don't think it's ever fun or entertaining to watch Sonny have to ask for someone's help, especially someone like Alexis who makes her disdain for Sonny known virtually on a daily basis. I don't know if she's ever going to realize that she's the one who is responsible for Kristina being as she is and feeling about her father as she does. You would have thought a person who had only spotty moments with her father as Alexis did would have done differently with her children, but I guess that was too much to hope for. :(

I would have loved for Sonny to say "No, I have to see Kristina now" but clearly they didn't want to go that route. I guess we'll have to wait until Keifer is beating the crap out of Kristina until we'll get to have another scene between her and Sonny. <_< Because it sure felt to me that Kristina has no knowledge of her father's background, and Alexis' kind words about him aren't enough to counteract all the isolation she has felt from him all these years imo.

I would love for Sonny to tell Jax to get out of the way, that the boys are his sons, but I have a feeling Sonny is going to back off, and end up going home alone. What a crappy night for Sonny! :(

I think you're absolutely right, both before and now... Alexis may say she thinks Sonny is a good father and loves Kristina, but her actions of keeping Kristina away from Sonny both before and now tell a very different story. Sonny respects Alexis as Kristina's mother, but does she really respect him as Kristina's father? I don't think so. <_<

It does seem that when Carly gives birth, it can never be in a hospital, but instead has to be during a storm, somewhere far less than ideal, and she's in danger. Is that how Claudia will exit GH, just after she's delivered Carly's baby? :unsure: Guess we'll just have to watch and see. ;)

First of all I hate that Sonny always has conflict when it comes to his kids. He is their father. He has a right to see them when he wants without hassle from mothers and stepdads.

Jax has No right to tell Sonny when he can or can't have his boys.

Alexis needs tolook at herself if she is worried about Kristina. This poor girl has no idea about anything he father. She has been brainwashed against Sonny. The nice words Alexis said to her about Sonny. How long will that last? until Sonny wants to see Kristina.

Also Olivia coming to help Jax watch the boy's since when isn't Michael old and wise enough to talk care of Morgan. What an excuse to get her on screen and in the middle of Sonny and this mess.

Porr Carly I think when she gets close to labor she should just go to the hospital and lock herself in a room. :lmao:

Youi know this will be written simular to when Morgan was born. Someone will think Claudia is hurting her and Kill Claudia. The writers couldn't write anything new if it bit them in the butt.

Good Afternoon from Sonny, Indiana!

Yesterday's show was definately hard to watch. I hate seeing Sonny so alone and begging for help. Alexis annoyed me yesterday, but in some ways she was more in Sonny's corner than anyone else. How sad is that? :rolleyes: I thought she had some good things to say to Kristina and I'm hoping that, instead of leaving Kristina to hate her dad, she'll actually encourage their relationship. I'm taking a "wait and see" approach.

Jax, on the other hand, well, I'll just let the smilies speak for me.

But of all the people that Sonny interacted with yesterday, I have to say that Jason bothered me the most. Jason caused all of this drama. Jason is the one that had to get in Sonny's face and force him to take action against Claudia. He set up the timing - right before the party. If there is anyone to blame for Carly being in trouble, its Jason. And then, when Sonny practically moves heaven and earth to get Jason released - Jason doesn't have ONE WORD - not ONE WORD of gratitude.

Seems to me that its time for Sonny and Rebecca to have coffee again. They could both use a real friend right about now. :love:

Now, on to Sonny... I'm so tired of him being disrespected as a father by both the mothers and the stepfathers that I just don't know what else to do. It seems regardless of how great a father he is, he is characterized by almost every other person in Port Charles as a loser. No wonder he was so hard on himself when he found out about Alexis and Sam; and no wonder he needed that one person who could see what a good man he is. :love: Where the hell is that person in Sonny's life now? :unsure:

The only thing that comes close to the disrespect paid to Sonny is that of Jax' to Carly in this mess. He's kept his brother's secret all this time; he deserves everything Carly throws at him and then some. <_<

That non-exchange that Sonny and Jason had yesterday was definitely weird. I thought perhaps Sonny didn't want to talk to Jason, or wanted to keep him away from Alexis, but I just don't know now. Regardless, I agree that Jason needs to acknowledge that he is culpable in how this all went down because of his timing. :blink:
