Breakfast at Greystone, Wed, November 4th 2009

Good Morning from the San Francisco Bay Area. The thermometer on the back porch read 51 degrees a few minutes ago and we’re expecting temperatures in the 60s today with mostly Sonny skies. :rolleyes:

We again had no Rebecca yesterday, and Sonny was very frustrated trying to do the right thing.

• Carly and Jax’ house. Jax refused to let Sonny take the boys. Sonny wouldn't take no for an answer, said he is the boys' father and told the boys let's go home. They continued to argue about Sonny wanting to take the boys and, when pressed, Morgan said that it isn't their night to visit him and that Carly would want them to be there. Jax tried to get Sonny to leave. Sonny told Jax that while he may be Carly's husband, he has no say where the boys are concerned and not to even think about using the situation to try and take the kids from him. Jax told the boys to go to bed, Sonny tells them to stay where they are, and then Olivia sent them upstairs. Jax ordered Sonny out, and Sonny replied “screw you”. Jax told Sonny he has no claim to the boys because he signed away his rights and if Carly dies that they are Jax' responsibility. Sonny told Jax that he is an outsider and he will never take his sons away from him. Jax says he has no say in the matter. Olivia intervened and took Jax' side. She told Sonny to go home, say a prayer for Carly, and get some rest. Sonny asked how she would feel if someone told her to stay away from her son. Sonny left saying this isn't over.
• Greystone Living Room. Sonny asked if their men have made any progress. Bernie started making excuses, and Sonny told him no excuses, find them! Bernie left.
• Olivia showed up and Sonny asked if she was there to lecture him. She replied if he wants her to she will. Sonny said no thank you, that he’d pass. Olivia was about to leave, but he asked her to stay, then asked her if she thought that Jax was right, that the whole thing is Sonny's fault. Olivia said they all wish they could have done things differently, but this is all on Claudia. Sonny explained to her his reasoning for confronting Claudia publicly, that he thought that she would have no choice but to confess. Olivia talked about what kind of person Claudia is and how she thinks. Sonny said he knew she had a gun, and was hoping she’d point it at him so someone else could take her out in self-defense, but then there’s the collateral damage angle with so many people in the room. Olivia replied that at the end of the day, Claudia is ruthless, devious and crazy, and ultimately a coward. Sonny said that may be Carly's biggest advantage because she is hands down the bravest woman he knows.
• Sonny told Olivia how mad it makes him when Jax tries to keep the boys from him and acts like he is their father. He talked about his relationship with Carly, and that he’s amazed because she isn't the type of woman he usually goes for, but the things that normally wouldn't attract him are what he loved the most, and that a large part of their attraction is that they were both so messed up. He talked about how he was always attracted to fragile women and he thought that came from a need to save them and that had to do with how his mother was treated. Olivia replied with maybe someone to save him. He mentioned Lily and Brenda, but said he loved Carly the most because she is the mother of his sons and he trusts her, kind of like he trusts Olivia. Olivia told Sonny how he has come up in conversation between her and Carly; he wanted to know what they say. She said that Carly loves him and always will, that doesn't mean she hasn't been deeply disappointed in him and angry as hell. But, she sees past all the self-destructive crap to who he is in his heart and soul, and that he is a good man. Sonny told her that he can see how her and Carly get along so well, they are a lot alike. They end up talking about when they were kids and took risks, did dangerous things because they didn't have anyone depending on them. Sonny remarked that they can't go back, and Olivia said they have their memories. Sonny said he wished they had something to hold onto, something real, something lasting.

What’s up on GH today…
Nothing specific to Sonny or Rebecca.

ARGGHHH!!! The fact that Sonny didn’t take his gun out and just shoot Jax right where he stood as he showed such enormous disrespect for Carly, Sonny and their family unit with Michael and Morgan showed amazing restraint. And when Jax brought up the BS about Sonny signing the boys over… Each day that he digs himself in deeper, I keep hoping that Jax will get his comeuppance but good when Carly eventually returns and that she will go OFF on him for keeping what he knew about Michae4l’s shooting quiet.

I was glad that Sonny got to blow off some steam. And it was especially sweet because every time I see Bernie, all I can think of is how Bernie was so disloyal and disrespectful the first time he shared a scene with Sonny back when Jason stole the business during Sonny and Emily. :angry:

Then there were the scenes at Greystone with Olivia… They were ok from my standpoint; it just seems that Olivia keeps digging herself in deeper and deeper; I hope we don’t have to wait much longer for the Dante secret to come out. It’s really time for it imo. Sonny has put far too much stock in his and Olivia’s past, and it’s time he found out how much she’s been keeping from him. Yesterday, he needed someone that resembled a friend after the crap with Jax, and that was Olivia. But she’s not a real friend, and it’s time to shine a light on that.

So what are you thinking?

Breakfast is served. Milo has put out and assortment of Cold Cereals, Granola, Oatmeal, mixed berries, yogurt, fresh squeezed orange juice from my tree, and, of course, fresh fruit. Sonny’s Corinthos Breakfast Blend coffee is in the pump pots, as well as hot water. Come on into the Living Room and pull up a chair as we make ourselves at home and chat about Sonny, Rebecca, Emily, Maurice or Natalia… or whatever else is on our minds today. Anybody want an orange? Catch! :D

Lawd, why can't someone put a bullet in Jax, he hates Sonny so much that he can't see straight. I am glad that Sonny gave him a few choice words...that have been long overdue, imo :wohoo: When Jax said get out, when the boys went upstairs, Sonny said, "screw you!" I was applauding Sonny.

When Jax brought up that Sonny signed his parental right to the boy away...and that with Carly missing he is the boys are his family, I was waiting for Sonny to blow a gasket...I liked how Sonny kept his composure and did not lose it. He did thought later tell him that he's not the boys father and in no way was he going to allow him to take his place in their lives. :yay: :yay:

Olivia pissed me off most of the time because of all to so-called advice she giving about children and family. But yet she sitting there with the biggest secret of all, and calling herself a friend....and it just make wrong. I wonder how she sleeps at night wondering when all this is going to blow up in her face. She did give some sound advice to Jax about Sonny and his kids, that he needs to cease showing such disdain for Sonny in front of his kids. So I am going to give her that, but that just another instant of her butting in, which makes her look even more hypocritical imo.

It seems the show is so concentrated on the Claudia reveal storyline that the rest of the cast of the show are either not breathing and left town. This is what's wrong with the show, their is no balance. Would it hurt to have a scene or two of Rebecca with the Q's to balance out all this...I guess in Guza eyes he have a one trace mind.

Good morning Maurice and Natalia Warriors! :wave:

Jax has so many issues, I can't even begin to discuss them. Sonny's the bad guy in his mind, but his own blood brother, Jerry, has done far worse than Sonny could ever do. I am looking forward to Carly letting Jax have it. I know she'll handle it just fine!

Olivia -- our daily nuisance! :rolleyes: I don't know if anyone realized it, but last week, one day only I think, she wasn't on our screens. I don't think anyone mentioned it and I kept forgetting to mention it, so I thought I'd try and make every feel better. Maybe she will get two days off this week. <_<

Sonny so needs someone to talk to right about now. Mike would be fabulous. Maybe Sonny could go to Kelly's and Rebecca would just happen to be there as well. Oh the possibilities that could bring. :cloud9:

Well I hope when Carly gets back she find sout how Jax has treated Sonny and calls him on it. I also hope she goes off on Jax for not telling her about Claudia. Then I hope she tells him that She never filed the papers of Sonny giving up the boys.

Now on to Miss on the show everyday Olivia. She has a lot of nerve talking to Sonny about Family. I will give her some credit about telling Jax off about talking bad about Sonny in front of HIS boys.

So Sonny wants something to remember hsi past with Olivia. Well look out Sonny here comes your son. That this wonderful friend that you Trust has kept from you for over 20+ years.

Guza can only think with half of his brain. it seems so when he has one story going on he can't write for the other people in PC. So we have the Claudia / Carly story. I guess LuLu and Dom in the water is a story???
But everyone it PC is off the screen. No Rebecca,No Hospital people, No Q's
No Niz. Maybe we can get that other side of his brain working soon?????

Good morning from the Twin Cities.

I am so sick of Olivia getting all this screen time and Natty is lucky to get 5 minutes a week. :censored: :bangshead: Plus, you know when the Dante secret comes out she'll be made to look like the good guy and Sonny will be made to look like the bad.

There is nothing on this show right now that is making me want to watch and so I'm not. To me I would be wasting my time and I am letting GH know this in a daily basis. If they want me to turn their show on then they need to give me something worth watching and they haven't done that in a very long time.

Sorry for the rant, but I have nothing good to say about this show right now.

But Sonny said something to Olivia, that literally brought tears to my eyes.
It was all I could so from flat out :bawling: --- Sonny said he loved Carly MOST!
As he mentioned Lily, Brenda, ... I'm glad he didn't include Kate, :barf: but to NOT mention Emily..... :(

Then he goes on to say that O & C are alot alike... Once I've "met" Olivia, I always thought that he saw her in Brenda.......... but as I got to see a friendship blossom between O&C, I could see they were alike and that may have been part of Sonnys attraction to Carly in the beginning! So having said this and knowing he married Carly 4x... perhaps its true he did love Carly most, but I DON'T like it at all.

Its like he said O&C are ALOT alike, more than he realizes... He said he didn't like that Carly lied to him... I'm ANXIOUS for OLIVIAS lie to be known to Sonny.... but my mag said it won't be revealed for awhile, which tells me, they will wait til NEXT sweeps. <_< :lame:

I STILL say EMILY was the best thing to happen to Sonny and it just tore me up, no mention of her to say he he loved her! :(

And the only thing that I'm looking forward to seeing happen with Jax is Carly going ape-sh*t all over him for the secrets he's been keeping. :woot:

Olivia... I love her with Johnny, but the rest of the time, with all her freaking secrets, she just makes me sick. I wonder how everyone will feel about her when they find out she's known about Claudia for as long as Jax? What will Carly think of her "friend" then? How about Sonny? Yes, she had some good advice for Jax, but everything she said to Sonny was tainted imo because she's keeping the biggest secret of Sonny's life! :o After he asked her what she would do if she was told to walk away from her son, I have a feeling that's exactly what will happen when Dante finds out about Sonny... he won't want to have anything to do with her, and either he or Sonny will tell her to walk away. ;)

I don't get it either how all other storylines on GH have ceased to exist; I get that they had a short time to get SJB off-screen, but please... :rolleyes: They really can't do more than one at a time? :unsure:

Yeah, that's weird, what happen to this story with JJ...truthfully I think they didn't have a plan when they fired GV and hired JJ....and it showing now in the story they are writing for him.

I am hoping that you're wrong about Olivia being made to look like the good guy when the Dante secret comes out. This is one time, I think I'd have to side with Kate, because she's thought it was wrong from the beginning. Granted she never had enough guts or fortitude to push it, but at least she voiced that keeping the secret was wrong... now I know this show has twisted my brain; I'm siding with Kate! :o
