Angels lead 5-0 in the top of the 4th with nobody out. We scored 2 in the second on RBI singles from Wells and Iannetta. Torii hit a solo home run in the 3rd and Howie scored on a single from Aybar. Wells hit a solo home run to leadoff the 4th which knocked Milone out of the game.

LIGHT UP THE HALO! THE ANGELS WIN AGAIN!

Angels win 8-3. A big win against the A's. Wilson pitched well in his 5 innings and I'm surprised we didn't try and get another inning out of him even through he struggled a bit in the 5th.

Angels lead the A's 1-0 through 5. Not many scoring chances so far but we take the lead in the 5th as Callaspo scores on a single from Trout.

Greinke pitching for the Angels and Parker is pitching for the A's.

3-3 in downtown LA in the top of the 8th. We gained a 3-1 lead in the bottom of the 7th until the Padres tied it with a 2 run homer in the 8th. Energy really sucked out of a previously boisterous crowd with that long ball from San Diego.
Cmon boys we can't lose this one!

LIGHT UP THE HALO! THE ANGELS WIN AGAIN!

Angels win 6-1. Greinke was excellent in his 7 innings and Parker pitched well for the A's. We managed to add 2 runs in the 8th and 2 runs in the 9th which was big.

That is something you never like to see as Brandon McCarthy was hit in the head with a line drive. He managed to walk off the field which is a good sign and hopefully he isn't injured too seriously.

The amazing thing about that game is that it took less than 2 hours to complete the first 7 innings, and then the (small) crowd spent the next more than an hour freezing our wotsits off whilst they finished off the final 2 innings.

Oakland never looked like winning it, to be honest.

LIGHT UP THE HALO! THE ANGELS WIN AGAIN!

Angels win 7-1. Haren was solid but didn't have his best stuff through his 6 innings. Richards had a few problems when he came in the game. Maronde looked impressive as he managed to strike out the 3 batters he faced. Jepsen and Frieri both did good jobs out of the bullpen. We managed to add 4 runs in the 9th to turn a 3-1 lead into a 7-1 lead.

Now we head home to face the Tigers this weekend in another big series.

The Giants gave the D-backs another huge start, but this time their comeback attempts in the final three innings were repeatedly killed off by double plays - however, the Dodgers also lost, so we all stay as we were ... Dodgers arrive for a 3 game series starting Friday. Cahill had a no-hitter through 6IP, with 1 walk., but we got two runs back in the 7th, but then the double plays started.

I witnessed a brawl tonight! Arizona had men on first and second with none out and the batter hit the ball sharply towards the first baseman (Belt) who threw over to Sandoval at 3B who sort of bulldozed the runner with his tag - I'm not sure why he tried to tag the runner as it was a force play. What followed was a benches-clearing "brawl", which I'd describe more as an aggressive milling around between the two sets of players. But it got the 41,000+ crowd into the game.

What a start for the Orioles as they score 4 runs in the first inning to take a 4-0 lead. Jones had a RBI single and Wieters hit a 3-run home run.

LIGHT UP THE HALO! THE ANGELS WIN AGAIN!

Angels beat the Tigers 3-2. Santana pitched well and the bullpen did a good job. Bourjos scored on a pinch-hit single from Callaspo in the 9th to win the game.
