NL West – Who wins it?

We are now past the All-Star break and almost past the trade deadline so who does everyone think will win the NL West?

The Dodgers and Giants are virtually in a tie for first place but there hasn’t been much talk about the Diamondbacks who aren’t that far behind. All the teams have different strengths and weaknesses so it should be a really close race. All 3 teams but pin particular the Dodgers will probably strengthen before the trade deadline.

I've gone for who I want to win it (D'Backs) rather than who I think will, mainly because I still can't pick a winner out of the top three. My preference is anyone but the gnats.

In order to see if I'm right, I feel compelled to go and watch the LA @ SF series next month.

I can see this division going to the final weekend, have picked the Giants.

Have just voted for the Dodgers even though I am a Ginats fan. Have just heard the news that Melky Cabrera has been suspended for 50 games for excessive testosterone levels.

I've voted for us to claim the pennant. I think the loss of Melky Cabrera & possible fallout from his situation in San Francisco may be just enough to give us the edge in this one.
We still have 9 games remaining against the Giants this season (6 in LA) so they're really going to be what decides it I think.

I voted for the Dodgers. I don't think there will be much between the 3 teams at the end of the season but I just think the additions the Dodgers made at the the trade deadline will give them an edge.

I went for the D'Backs because I think while the Dodgers and Giants have been fighting each other for top spot all season the D'Backs have been quietly sneaking up on them and have a good chance of catching the California pair off guard.

As much as I'd love to say Dodgers, I think it's going to be the Giants (booooo) or the DBacks. Dodgers seem to have less good days than bad at the moment.
