Hi all, thought I should introduce myself after lurking around for a while. I'm an enthusiastic but not hugely knowledgeable newby. Went to a minor league game a few years ago when visiting family in the states. Unfortunately the family member over there seems to be the only American that doesn't like baseball ! Although we enjoyed the day ( El Paso Diablos ) we didn't really think about it much until last year when we went to Boston and New York. Managed to get tickets for Red Sox V Cubs interleague game and have been hooked since.
I suppose the chances of your football, and baseball teams doing well at the same time are slim, oh well, at least the mighty canaries have had a good season although there's plenty of time for Sox to sort out their pitching.
I never thought there were many baseball followers in the UK until I came on here !
