As was stated earlier, if could make sense to have an AL and a NL team - I kind of do...

Blue Jays are my team but I have a soft spot for the Mets after watching a Subway Series way back when Piazza started playing for them! I had conditioned myself to go for anyone other than the Yankees, made it even better that the Mets were from NYC too! smile.gif

The Marlins are my NL team I would follow if there was no Rays, I try to watch them online if there's no Rays game underway. I don't really care about any others, one is enough for me. What I can't respect is people who just blatantly jump on a team bandwagon when a team is doing well, I most respect loyalty, I know when I first started with the Rays they were a terrible joke who nobody watched and they lost 95-100 games every season for many years, but I stuck with them, it usually pays off to do so in the end if you are patient, well unless you are a Pirates fan LOL

It does make a lot of sense to have an AC and an NL team. Seems all of mine are in AC lol. I never actually gave that a thought when I got back into the game and picked teams to follow. I began to like the Rays after watching them play and never noticed that they were AC rolleyes.gif I chose the Mariners purely because I follow the Seahawks in AF so I wanted another team in the same city. I'm hopeless really lol.

Yes, I definitely have a second team, who are the Boston Red Sox, as when I lived for almost a year in Manhattan in 2003 when I was on my post-grad student exchange programme, the only other ballpark I ever went to in those days apart from Shea Stadium was Fenway Park, I went to Boston for a long weekend with friends, and somebody got us tickets to a Red Sox v Minnesota Twins night game, I remember Kevin Millar hit a big home run over the green monster, and some other Red Sox player did too, though I can't recall who that was, so I always liked the Red Sox.
