Angels-Blue Jays starts soon. Haren v Morrow.

Great outing from my favourite Jay, Brandon Morrow, last night!

Morrow pitched well but we helped him out by swinging at a lot of pitches. I was surprised that he needed to throw more than 100 pitches. Haren wasn't that bad but gave up 4 hits in one inning which included the 3-run home run. The other 2 runs scored on an error from Trumbo that effectively ended any chance of us getting back into the game.

Having awoken to see Marlins leading 8-7 in bottom of the 7th

But on the ropes, Padres have a man on 3rd now after 2 passed balls from Hayes has allowed the runner to got from 1st to 3rd in 3 pitches.

Marlins win and thats 4 straight now and all by 1 run.

Somehow we got the job done, despite JJ and Bell's best efforts, Cishek pitched the final 3 innings for us and got the win.

Should of brought him in in the 9th inning to close as the comms were discussing, he has been our most dependable guy in the pen.

Still 12-14 now and things are looking better despite a few obvious issues we have to deal with.

Aye, he was asked about the pitch count and joked that he had thrown 120 pitches in 4 innings before! That's the only real problem with him sometimes but hoping that he will get it under control as the season goes on!

Certainly didn't expect to have back to back shutouts against your guys!! ohmy.gif

Cuddyer hits a Grand Slam in the 1st and CarGo brings 2 in the 2nd.

The Braves get 1 in the 3rd and 2 in the 5th, making it 6-3

Settling in for at least some of Red Sox v Orioles. Trying to avoid the sweep. This could become a long, depressing season...
