Knicks win 87-85

Great game and the sort of games I expected when this series began, Anthony was massive for the Knicks over 40 points leading them to there 1st win.

Not to concerned as I said before the game I expected them to play this one tough and get the win

We had the chance having the ball with 14 seconds left, but good D forced Wade to attempt an awkward looking 3 point attempt which hit the rim.

Game 5 Wednesday when I expect us to wrap it up.

Just finished watching the Lakers game from last night. to lose at home (at one stage it looked like being a blowout for the Nuggets) could be big, Going back to Denver for a Game 6 will be a tough one to win and it could all come down to a Game 7

Just poor shooting from the Lakers all round really, Denver did play really well though and looked like they really wanted this one, we've seen before when a team is 3-1 down playing on the other teams court they are almost resigned to losing but Denver started well and never really lose control.

That is a key when down 3-1, got to start well as finding yourself down 12-15 early really cranks up the pressure and you start to make poor shot selections to force the issue.

So there will be a Game 6 in Denver and a Game 6 in Boston as the Hawks managed to hold of the Celtics to stay alive despite almost blowing it by turning the ball over in the final 10 seconds when leading by 1 and a Game 6 in Philly as the Bulls rebounded somewhat and at least played good defense to keep the series alive for the #1 seed

Hopefully no Game 6 in NY and we can wrap it tonight

Solid 1st half, leading 55-44

Looking good so far, showing much better energy and there is a rhythm to the offensive play which was missing Sunday, getting points in the paint and driving to the basket a bit more.

Bench has chipped in with a few as well.

More of the same in the next 2 quarters and we can focus on Indiana

You'll win, but I really don't think you're playing all that great tonight. I'd be expecting a bit more if I were a Heat fan, I'd be wanting to make a statement and close it out in style.

Also, this half-time show is awful!!!

We made the statement in Game 1 that if everyone plays to there potential then there isn't a better team

Like the way were playing and the comms just commentated on it funnily enough, it looks like we are costing but not in a disrespectful way, we are doing enough to keep a decent sized lead whilst trying to preserve some energy.

Would like to maybe see a bigger lead develop in case the Knicks get hot and we start to struggle but we should be ok

Intensity from both teams has dipped in this quarter though as they mentioned

I turned it on between periods in the Rangers game, and we aren't even trying on defence, trotting down the court. I think we had this game down as a loss before tip-off.

That's a fair point, but I'd be wanting to see it again after the last game(s) And, as Cubbie said, the Knicks aren't exactly lighting anything up, but just sort of hanging around.

Heat Win 106-94

I'm happy with the preformance, in spurts we put on a show and the rest of the time just did enough, had a great stretch from mid 3rd till mid 4th before labouring towards the end and letting up.

So win the series in 5, wasn't to taxing really with 3 double digit wins and 1 close loss.

Indiana next up then, won the season series 3-1, wont be an easy one but we should have more then enough to get by them in 5 or 6.

I'm just happy we took a game off you Lee....what next for the Knicks? I have no idea how we get better without getting rid of either Carmelo or Amare. I was watching Sportsnation this morning and they commented that we have been a .500 team since Carmelo came over. When he was out in the season, we went something like 8-2...lot more balance without him and with Lin (who was sorely missed in the series)...Phil Jackson might come on board.

I think the Heat will end up winning it all, I do really like the Clippers as well but I think it ends up being a Miami Heat v Oklahoma City Thunder final. That would be a great series.

Well things aren't really going to plan for certain teams this year and we now have Philly, as opposed to the Bulls, taking on the Celtics and Indiana going up against the Heat - I'm looking forward to this series, purely from the point of view of seeing how the young buck Pacers show themselves against a genuine contender (if I'm honest, doesn't look good for them but you never know!).

*N.B. MASSIVE CLAIM FROM VADER*
This year's NBA Champions will be coming from the West again but the only thing that concerns me is the fact that both the Thunder and the Spurs have had pretty much a week off, which is great from the point of view of letting nagging injuries heal a little bit. However, having got yourself up for 4 games and having a week away from that can mean it is extremely difficult to get yourself back into the swing of things... next thing you know, your down a couple of games before getting back in the groove!

Haven't changed my mind about it being a Thunder/Heat Finals yet but I am wondering whether we might see a surprise in the Philly/Boston series (I do hope so!!). I realise that they have beaten a weakened Bulls team but you can only beat who is front of you and they have done that!

Would love for the 49ers to beat the Celtics as it is would be a much better matchup for us in the East finals should we win of course.

Boston has been hot since the All star break but had some troubles putting the Hawks away, think Boston wins in 6 though and we win in 5 to set up what should be a thrilling finals in the East.

Both LA teams are on the ropes having blown 3-1 leads and now both face a Game 7, Lakers are at home and think they just squeeze through but the Clippers have serious problems with Injuries and just look spent, Grizzles are also starting to play like we expected them too and I can see them taking game 7 at home.

Semis are looking pretty tasty especially in the West, Thunder and Spurs, Heat and Celtics are my Finals predictions though.

Philly blows a 10 point lead to lose by 1! I may have called it right and this series might be "interesting" after all!!

Now for the Nuggets/Lakers game...

Sleep is for wimps!! unsure.gif

Clippers win there Game 7 and both LA teams survive

Not been a great 1st half for us, just 6 points for James and all round we look a little of key, only down 6 at the half so still all to play for in the 2nd half

Better 3rd quarter and its tied up at 70-70

Wade and Lebron carrying the team offensively and the defense has stepped up a gear

Chris Bosh will not return from his injury in the 2nd quarter and is out for the rest of the game, could be a big blow but we've come back without him.

Hopefully he will be ok for Tuesday

Miami win 95-86

Real tough game and the scoreline dosn't quite do the game justice,

Wade and Lebron just took over for us of the 53 points we scored in the 2nd half they scored 49 of them.

Hopefully Bosh isn't hurt to badly, we can't rely on Wade and Lebron doing that for an entire game and winning regularly.

Tough opening game but we come out the Win, roll on Tuesday night and Game 2
