Congratulations to Philip Humber on his perfect game. Just been watching the highlights. Anyone heard of him before this? Big up to Ryan for keeping it [fairly] cool over the check swing thing- A counterpoint to last years Galarraga cock up maybe.

I watched the whole thing last night and once I realised that the Mariners were not going to win I put my whole support behind Humber and really wanted him to get his perfect game.

It's a fantastic thing - must have been great to see 'live.'

I flipped over for the 9th. Always great to see a perfect game, but a shame it ended on a horrible pitch and a horrible call!

Still amazing. Chances of Humber getting shelled in his next start?

Great acheivement

Funny how despite having the advantage or disadvantage of the DH in the AL, they have been 3 in the past 4 years and 6 in the past 18 and in that time span of 18 years just 2 have happened in the NL
