That's the wrong answer Alex, it's got to be blondes! I hope your missus is at least a brunette wink.gif

It depends, but I'll normally take drama over comedy.

What would you rather watch, English Premier League MNF or NFL MNF?

Hit a walk off base hit or catch the last out in a winning game?

Walk off hit - more glory...

As a fan which is more painful -

Rangers losing the World Series in 2011 after being 1 pitch away twice in game 6

or

Cubs failing to reach the World Series in 2003 in the Bartman game (also a game 6)?

Has to be Rangers losing one strike away from Glory

all they needed was 1 strike and they were champs, the bartman game was game 6 but it was only the NLCS so would of still needed to beat the Yankees it and wasn't the final out or anything, think it was the 7th inning if i remember so even if the out is made we still had 2 innings to mount a comeback.

This or That

Who's more Likely to return to World Series?

Texas or St Louis

Can't I say neither? As things stand I'd have to say the Rangers, but that is likely to change once all the winter wheeling and dealing has been done. If the Cards can resign Pujols and get their injured back on track then I'd say them. Also if the Halos where to sign Pujols, it's would also have to be the Cards.

Will Andre Villas-Boas be fired before or after Christmas?

No I dont think so, eventually that defence will surely tighten up and they will go on a run.

Tim Tebow has a future as a NFL starting QB? i.e next season onwards

I'll answer that one being a Broncos fan.

No, he just can't throw the ball. If you can't throw you can't be long successful NFL QB.

Here's a political one. Scotland, could they make independence work? Yes or No?

Thanks for saving me from answering the previous question myself Chipper, our answer would have been the same, but I would have thrown in a couple of insults as well! Such as referring to him as Jamarcus Tebow! biggrin.gif

To answer your question, not to the satisfaction of the Scottish people. Some success is achievable, as can be seen in Scandinavia, but at the expense of a much higher cost of living for the population. As the party that would most likely end up in power, initially anyway, would be extremely reluctant to make the population pay the price through such an increased cost of living for the less well off in society, I fear the worst. Greece Mk II rather than Norway Mk II.

Who will end up with a worse record next year, Athletics or Astros?

Astros

Really poor this year and I don't think things are gonna get better that quickly, the A's still have a strong rotation which keeps them in games.

More likely to finish 0-16

Indianapolis or Miami

Another team, probably on the west coast.

Out of those 2 options i'll say Yankees as they will be desperate for pitching.

As i'm getting married in February:

As a guy - wear a wedding ring after marriage or don't bother with a ring?

Only if they're prepared to give up Montero.

I've always worn my wedding ring, although these days I have to wear on my little finger!

Big church wedding or keep it simple?
