Hi, my first Mets post here. Lots to discuss, but I'm very closely watching the progress of Kirk Nieuwenhuis, he really only got his chance when Andres Torres got injured, but how he has grabbed it, and he's one of the best young guys to watch on the team, though there are so many of them right now, what a refreshing change from all the expensive baggage we had to carry for a few years.

MetsBhoys will be live today straight after the game at around 4pm ET/9pm GMT
Usual place but link will appear on this thread when live
As usual we'll be covering everything in the world of Mets but also for a wee change this week Nicky and Frankie will be telling us about their involvement in bringing back the NY Cosmos to MLS and all that's happening with that.
We might even squeeze in a wee bit about the newly relocated Brooklyn Nets.
Let's Go Mets

I don't know what this is or where to find it, if somebody can direct me, sounds interesting.
Will be tuning in as usual to Gary, Keith, Ron, and Kevin on SNY/MLB.tv at 6pm for the most entertaining team broadcasters in baseball, well at least I think so anyway.
We have the D'Backs today, Mets have cooled off a bit the past few games, getting swept in Houston was quite poor, no disrespect to Astros fans but not many teams will get swept by the Astros this year, or maybe they are a bit better than expected like the Mets are?
Santana got his first W yesterday, though he has been pitching just superbly despite a 0-2 record, just shows how W/L don't tell the whole story with a pitcher.
We could do with a good win today as we then head out on a tough road trip to Philadelphia and Miami next week.
GO METS

MetsBhoys #8 - 6th May 2012 On MetsBhoys #8 Jason has the controls as Harper is busy putting some money back into the Irish economy by way of the pub. Jason is joined by Joc in Scotland and as usual, Nicky and Frankie in New York City. Harper calls in after about 30 mins and later the Bhoys are joined by Michael from Hawaii. Todays victory over Arizona and RA's great day at the mound are discussed along with how Torres coming off the DL has benefited the team and many other facts and figures. We look at the bullpen and have our usual "Dumb as a Yankee" slot where the novices find out the differences in the NL and AL apart from the DH, and we learn why jumping out the way of a stray pitch is not in Harpers gameplan. At the end of another marathon episode Nicky and Frankie give us a great insight into their aspirations to re-introduce the world famous New York Comsmos to the top of US football (soccer to some). Enjoy, and Lets Go Mets!!! Spreaker: http://www.spreaker.com/user/homebhoys/met..._8_6th_may_2012iTunes: http://itunes.apple.com/ie/podcast/metsbho...ast/id510454822

Cool podcast, it's really good listening to us metsies on this side of the pond The only thing I dislike about it is the way the guy who lives in Ireland ALWAYS interrupts people. He was even worse this week but he does it most weeks! Let people talk and express their own opinions! Those American dudes must need a lie down at times afterwards! Lol Apart from that it's a cool show

I'm going to watch the game this morning on MLB.tv catch up, looks like we were unlucky to lose in the 9th, but Miami are incredibly hot, they're 9-1 in May.
