London prepares Basketball

Am of tomorrow to watch the 1st day at the New Olympic Basketball arena

As part of the London prepares series where they test out the arenas and lighting and scoring and stuff, Its a 6 team tournament between GB, France, Serbia, Croatia, Australia and China.

also part of the warmup for the eurobasket tournament which begins in late August.

Matches I'm seeing on Day 1 are China Vs Australia, Serbia Vs Croatia and finally GB Vs France.

Not bad 3 games for just £25 and its first come first served on seats, Getting there early to try and get a look around what we can of the Olympic Park.

Gonna be good seeing Luol Deng go against his Bulls temmate Joakin Noah.

I thought Deng wasn't playing. Did he play in the end?

No he didn't play, apparently he is doing some coaching course for the first 3 games and isn't there which is upsetting quite a few people questioning his commitment to the team.

Is meant to play on the weekend games

France had 6 NBA Players including Tony Parker and we hang in well for the most part, we lost by double digits but played well and only lost by 5 last night to Croatia who looked very good on Tuesday night.

Olympic Basketball arena looks quite nice and should be a decent venue for the games
