Anyone been watching The Killing on C4, Thursday nights?

I haven't seen a crime drama like it for many years, superb stuff.

haven't seen that one Alex, I'll ask my Mum about it. She rarely misses a murder drama.

Entourage is back on which I'm very happy about, love that show, especially Ari Gold! I've also started watching some new Sci-Fi alien program called Fallen Skies. It's a bit like The Walking Dead but with aliens, not too bad so far.

I was going to watch the Killing but just forgot about it, Might try the DVD, am I right in saying its a remake of a Danish show which is meant to be brilliant, the US series is good but not a patch on the original is what I've read

I had never seen Entourage until the last season when it was shown on the launch on Sky Atlantic but I loved it and now have DVDs of some of the older series and obviously watching the new series, gonna be the last one apparently although a movie is in the works, you know much about it F&C?

We watched the first Falling Skies (first thing I said was its basically walking dead with Aliens instead of Zombies) and liked it but havn't gotten round to watching the rest yet, got them on the SKY+ ready to be watched.

The new CSI: Miami series 9 has is top of my weekly viewing though, Love all 3 CSIs.

Also a show we really like is Nikita on Living on wednesdays, almost finished the 1st season and it's been a great watch so far.

Seen the DVDs of CSI NY, Blue Bloods, Hawaii 5-0 and Nikita are all out in September just in time for my birthday at the end of the month.

CSI Miami is the only one I don't like, but only because I can't stand Horatio, I get sick of his constant posing!

I'm generally a sucka for American comedy, but can't express how much I love Mike & Molly.

Love very character in that show and think it's brilliantly written

New series just started last week, new episode tonight. Can't wait.

I love Mime and Molly as well I just wish Comedy central showed it straight through rather then having these massive gaps.

The new episodes they are showing are actually the final few episodes of the last series that they never finished showing, they did the same with Two and Half men season 7 to 8

New series started in American last week and I think it will just follow once comedy central finish season 1 which has about 4 episodes left I think now.

Blue Bloods returns next Tuesday on Sky Atlantic, Really enjoyed season 1 and it has Tom Selleck so its win win.

Boardwalk empire is returning in October

Did you watch the new episode of Two and Half men Cubbie? thought it was pretty good and set up the Walden Schmidt character pretty well, wont ever be the be the same without Charlie Sheen but still gonna be great I think episode 2 is on next Monday so thats a must watch.

28 Million watched the episode in America

I am becoming addicted to Law & Order:SVU. Watched loads of episodes on TV recently and am working my way through the Season 1 boxset, only another 11 to go after that!

Didn't E4 do something similar with The Big Bang Theory? Show half the series then had a break and showed the rest wacko.gif

I did watch the new one Lee, I thought it was decent. Not the same as before, but they brought him in well. I hope he's going to wear more clothes through the series laugh.gif

Mike & Molly episode at Wrigley field this week was top class. Also loved the first episode of an idiot abroad 2.

just watched the first episode of season 6 of Dexter. Still the best thing on TV right now.

I also watched the first ep of the new Sky Drama Terra Nova. It was ok, has the potential to be good. Not feeling the characters just yet.

In other more exciting news it seems that Arrested Development will return for a mini-series before finishing it off with a movie. Great news.

wonderful news. Going to have to dig the boxset out and watch them all again - Its as nose as the Ann on plain's face...

Currently watching:

- House - Fell way behind and missed a chunk of a series, but have caught back up to the new ones on sky. Certainly repetitive TV, but remains highly watchable. The House/Wilson scenes are always the best (apart from Olivia Wilde ogling).

- Frozen Planet - Did anyone else watch the first episode of the new BBC nature extravaganza? Brilliant stuff as always. Makes HD picture genuinely worthwhile as well. Watching a pack of killer whales knock a seal off a perch with a wave was pretty astounding. How the hell did they figure that out!?

- The Shield - Have been given 3 series of this in a box-set to work my way through but haven't started it yet.

- The Walking Dead - 2nd series just started and is more of the same Zombie filled fun. Having read the comics i'll be interested to see where they go this series. Hopefully it won't end up as dark as the comic did...

- Carnivale - Finally got around to seeing the first series of this older HBO effort. Excellent stuff. Have got the 2nd series taped but haven't had a chance to watch it yet.

- Boardwalk Empire - Also got the 2nd series fo this taped but haven't started yet. Too much good TV around for me to keep up with!

Anything else on TV that i should be following at the moment?

Him & Her - BBC3, brilliant. Superb subtle jokes and a fantastic creepy neighbour.

Did anyone watch Alias?

I took a gamble, saw it on Amazon for £26, seasons 1-5. Never seen a single episode but relying on the J.J Abrams link and the fact I've never disliked anything he has done.

That is a blast from the past. I watched one series of it and I enjoyed it. If I remember correctly it was then shown on a different channel and I completely lost track of it. I really can’t remember that much about it and I’m now tempted to buy it if it’s only £26.
