Home Run Derby tonight whilst I know its not every ones cup of tea I enjoy watching it and its just a bit of fun

Competitors are

Jose Bautista
Prince Fielder
Matt Kemp
David Ortiz
Adrain Gonzalez
Rickie Weeks
Robinson Cano
Matt Holliday

So who you got your money, I;m backing the NL Captain Prince this year in the revamped format

Basically the same as normall but Ortiz and Fielder as Captains picked the other 3 participants from each league and the league that hits most Homers will win the team award and gets to donate the money to Charity.

The individual prizes remain the same

My money's on Prince and the NL as well but I think the AL team is stronger on paper. Its definitely a strong lineup all round. Last year was embarrassing. I mean Swisher, Chris Young and Vernon Wells?!?!? laugh.gif

A bit intrigued how Mr Bautista's game power translates to BP (well essentially it is) power

That was one of the more enjoyable Derbys

Cano wins it with 12 in the final and only used 6 outs, Gonzalez will feel unlucky he tied the record for most in a final with 11 but Cano smashed it

His Father was pitching to him as well, a great moment and the Yankees beat the Red Sox.

Good few hours of hitting with some monster shots from Cano.
