Elimination Chamber Tonight

Elimination Chamber Match for the WWE Championship: Sheamus (Champion) Vs John Cena Vs Triple H Vs Randy Orton Vs Ted Di Biasie Vs Kofi Kingston

Elimination Chamber Match for the World Heavyweight Championship: The Undertaker (Champion) Vs Rey Mysterio Vs Cm Punk Vs Chris Jericho Vs R-Truth Vs John Morrison

Divas Championship Match for Vaant title: Maryse Vs Gail Kim

Intercontinental Championship Math: Drew McIntyre (Champion) Vs Kane

Only having 4 announced matches is a bit poor so they obviously relying on the Chamber matches selling the PPV.

I expect a tag title match to happen, Miz Show Vs MVP and Henry I'd imagine, maybe Edge does somethng as well to fill some time.

I predict a Sheamus, Jericho, Maryse and McIntyre victories tonight

Shawn Michaels will likely interfere somehow to cost Taker but I'm not sure how he can get in the chamber.

Lets reenergise this thread, although the only other few people who read it arn't on here but what the hell

Capitol Punishment tonight, Card look quite strong on paper and should have some good matches,

WWE Championship
John Cena © vs. R-Truth

World Heavyweight Championship
Randy Orton © vs. Christian

The Miz vs. Alex Riley

Big Show vs. Alberto Del Rio

Intercontinental Championship
Wade Barrett © vs. Ezekial Jackson

CM Punk vs. Rey Mysterio

United States Championship
Kofi Kingston© vs. Dolph Ziggler

I'm most looking forward to seeing how R-Truth does in his big opportunity in the main event title match, I can't see him winning but a good showing might solidify his place in amongst the main eventers at least, it seems inevitable he will face Morrison when he comes back for real prob at summerslam.

Also A-Ri has been on fire since splitting from the Miz and is getting massive pops from the crowd and is building some momentum so hopefully he carries it over, my pick is that it goes DQ with brawling all over the arena but will be fun.

Quite looking forward to the show

Cm Punk is an absolute legend, best promo in years, speaking the truth that we all spout on forums but it was a shock to hear it being said on WWE programing.

WWE need to get him signed back and pushed to the moon, he is by far the best all round talent they have and have never given him the rub of the green and pushed as the main guy like he mentioned, He's been my favorite wrestler for years and this just makes me love him even more.

Awesome stuff and loved the cutting off the mike and just ending the show.

Story wise He has been "suspended" by Vince for his comments so can't wait to see what happens next week. NOTE: I know Raw for next week was taped last night as well but please for anyone who is reading this don't post spoilers or use the old white font trick if you do.

A transcript of what he said,

QUOTE
Credit: Richard Trionfo & PWInsider

Here is what CM Punk said after the R Truth/John Cena match on tonight's episode of Raw. This is not a full transcript of what he said, but covers what he said.

Punk takes a seat as he tells John Cena that while he lays there hopefully as uncomfortably as he can possibly be. He wants Cena to digest some of the things that Punk wants to get off his chest before he leaves in three weeks with Cena's title. He doesn't hate John and he actually likes John. He says that he likes Cena a hell of a lot more than most of the people in the back.

He hates the idea that Cena is the best because he is not. Punk says that he is the best and the best in the world. There is one thing that Cena is better at and that is kissing Vince McMahon's ass.

Punk says that Cena is just as good as Hulk Hogan was. He doesn't know if Cena is as good as Dwayne because he is a pretty good ass kisser and still is. Punk says that he is breaking the fourth wall and he waves to the camera. Punk reiterates that he is the best wrestler in the world. He has been the best since day one when he walked into the company and he has been vilified and hated since that day because Paul Heyman saw something in him that nobody else wanted to admit.

Punk says that he is a Heyman guy and he says that another person who was a Paul Heyman man was Brock Lesnar. Brock split just like he is splitting. Punk says that the biggest difference between him and Brock is that he is leaving with the WWE Championship.

Punk says that he has grabbed at so many of Vince McMahon's imaginary brass rings that it dawned on him that they are completely imaginary and the only thing that is real is him. The fact that day in and day out for almost six years he has proven to everybody in the world that he is the best. He is the best on the microphone, in the ring, and even on commentary. Nobody can touch him.

Yet no matter how many times he has proven it, he is not on the lovely little collector cups, he's not on the cover of the program, he's barely promoted, he doesn't get to be in movies, he certainly not on any crappy programs on USA Network. He isn't on the poster for Wrestlemania, he isn't on the signature that's produced at the start of the show. He's not on Conan O'Brien, he isn't on Jimmy Fallon. Punk says that he should be.

He says that this isn't sour grapes. The fact that Dwayne is in the main event of Wrestlemania next year and he isn't makes Punk sick. Punk wants everyone who was cheering him to know that they are the biggest part of him leaving as anyone else.

Punk says that they are sipping out of those collector cups, buy those programs that his face isn't on the cover of. Then at five in the morning, at the airport, you shove it in my face for an autograph so you can sell it on eBay because you are too lazy to get a real job.

Punk says that he is leaving with the WWE Championship on the 17th. Who knows, maybe I'll defend it in New Japan Pro Wrestling. Maybe I'll go back to Ring of Honor. Hey Colt Cabana, how ya doing.

Punk says that he is leaving because of the people. After he is gone, they are going to continue to pour money into this company. Punk says that he is just a spoke on the wheel and the wheel is going to keep on turning and he understands that.

Vince McMahon is going to make money despite himself. Vince is a millionaire who should be a billionaire. He says that it is because he surrounds himself with glad handing, nonsensical, (word was omitted, but sounded a lot like d-bag), yes men like John Laurinaitis who is going to tell him everything that he wants to hear.

Maybe this company will be better after Vince McMahon is dead, but the fact is that it's gonna get taken over by his idiotic daughter and his doofus son-in-law and the rest of his stupid family.

Let me tell you a personal story about Vince McMahon. We do this whole bully campaign

I hate the idea of pre-tapin gnext weels after that unbelievable promo to end this weeks. I know i wont be able to resisit looking at spoilers.

You;re right, they have to get Punk back, the man is as good in the ring as there is, and as goo don the mic. Never rate dhim as a face on ECW but as sonn as he became a heel character, then commentator, I would say him, Christian and Miz have been the three shining lights in the last 12 months.

Amazing ending to Raw.

CM Punk is just so hot right now its ridiculous, WWE surely can't let him go, if they are devoting this much time and effort into him he must of signed.

If he stays and WWE work this right he could be the top star within 12 months.

Brilliant segment both Punk and Vince were gold whilst I thought Cena was losing it with his childish remark about pee and stuff he turned it around and added to the segment.

Loved the Comparing Cena to the Red Sox and how he has become the person he hates most, the Top Dog, or the New York Yankess and that took Cena over the edge and Smack He knocks Punk down.

Amazing few weeks between these 3 and I can't wait till Sunday and the Match, Gonna be a red Hot crowd in Chi Town.

Eh, after they ruined the CM Punk return angle, I've lost a lot of interest. Not helped by the "Text Message" angle. Bugger that.

So, It Begins Is Jericho. Or is it? Probably not. I think he has returned, but in a completely seperate angle from It Begins, which will turn out to be Undertaker (probably).

Could "she" be Linda McMahon ? The angle along the lines of "i had to leave to get out, so I could observe what was wrong with the company, or something to that effect. Heel Linda = win! ?

Or am I insane?>!

She could cite politics, in a very real sense!

Been a while since I posted in here

Can't wait till Saturday, Finally going to be seeing HULK HOGAN LIVE IN PERSON and we are front row.

Just can't wait, from what started out as just being a live tour event with Sting (which is great in its self as I've never seen Sting either) turned into Live IMPACT Tapings so we are front row for TV and then it was announced that HULK HOGAN will be on the tour.

Hogan could stand and pose for the 3 hours and we'd be happy lol.

Gonna be great and then the night after its the Royal Rumble so a real wrestling themed weekend is in store.

I love wrestling biggrin.gif! RVD and John Cena are my favourites biggrin.gif.

Was front row for the Raw tapings in Liverpool at the beginning of November. Got on TV a few times and was lucky enough to have Santino throw me his shirt!

Looking forward to Elimination Chamber this Sunday; hoping Cena beats Kane.

Me and my roomate have made a pact. If Cena beats The Rock, we stop watching wrestling.

So bored of him, for years it's been a stale, stagnant character who overcomes the odds. He has been in the main event almost every wrestlemania since 2005.

He's obviously a ridiculously nice human being with all his charity stuff, which probably rules out a heel turn, which would really gives his character more depth and more to work with, a la R-Truth last year.

However, with that being said, the last few weeks has been the most interesting i've found Cena in about 5 years. The whole "embrace the hate" theme is working, and i jsut hope they don't end it after sunday, and somehow have a way to fixture it into his 'mania match.

I'm starting to get sick of Zack Ryder aswell, was glad when they finally pushed him, but he's cringworthy on the mic, yet not a bad worker.

Just longing for the moment Dolph Ziggler gets a title run, him, Punk (and John Laurinaitis), Daniel Bryan and amazingly R-Truth, have been the most enjoyable, watchable superstars for the last few months

Agree Ryder is becoming a bit of joke and is fast turning into a comedy joke character.

How many times has Kane destroyed him now over the past few months, he has lost so much momentum recently.

Elimination Chamber this week is a hard one to really call, on one hand I really like the Chamber matches and they almost allways deliver decent matches but the 2 this year just look so weak, Khali and Santino in a chamber? this could be a bigger wreck then the december to dismember chamber match, I'm liking Daniel Bryan right now and his slow burnt heel turn has been great and hoping he keeps the title.

I've a feeling the Wrestlemania title match is gonna be a multi-man match with some combination of Bryan, Sheamus, Henry, Big Show, Orton.

Raws chamber has the better stars but Really only 2 potential winners in either Punk or Jericho and either way it ends that will almost certainly be the Mania title match.

Loving the build for HHH/Taker though its been perfect so far and the Taker cutting his hair angle has me more interested, I saw the pic in about July of him bald and his hair obviously hasn't grown back to what it usually was and the hair he had 2 weeks ago on Raw was clearly a wig.

I never commented on my TNA experience and seeing Hogan and Sting, well it was amazing, Hogan was literally a foot away from me, we were on TV every time the wrestlers came down as we were front row, I've got a ton of pics to upload when I do I'll get some up on here, My brother has tagged me in Facebook though of us on TV of us getting mad at Roode.

Got tickets for the TV Tapings in April at O2 for my next Live wrestling fiz

Haaa, that's brilliant, i don;t watch TNA, but seeing Hogan, and the other stars they have nowwould no doubt of been amazing.

As for EC, i think it's almost a given Punk or Jericho is winning the Raw chamber, setting up their feud to see whose the"best in the world".

The smackdown chamber is where it's interesting, I think it's pretty obvious Sheamus is going for that title, but i don;t think they'll have enough faitrh in Sheamus-Bryan as a 'mania title match, so i'm expecting one of, if not both of Wade Barrett and Randy Orton involved in some shape or form.

Elsewhere i'll be expecting Kane-Cena to turn into Kane-Ryder in the build up, HHH/Taker is shaping up very nicely, and then add in the inevitable diva match, and specialist gimmick matches (looks like SHaq is involved this year) and most the card is sorted.

DOn't know what there planning with Ziggler, Miz, R-Truth, COdy Rhodes, Ted DiBiase, Kofi Kingston, Del Rio, and if he;s back in time, Christian. But with so much depth of talent, i'm thinkig wrestlemania will be brilliant.

I can't see Punk losing to be honest. I reckon they'll have him pin Jericho after another wrestler hits their own finishing move on him. Can't see Punk losing to Jericho and then using his rematch clause at WrestleMania.
